oh....and it kills me to watch the DeLorean get DESTROYED at the end

Boy, now THAT's drama for you right there. I don't know a single true fan who doesn't cry at that scene...
But you know what always strikes me as odd by the end of the trilogy? Marty went all over to save Doc, and Doc didn't even return his hover board!!!! "Oh, hover board? Don't know what you mean... But here, got this nice PICTURE for you!" :lookaroun

Good point!!! And...not to be a "non-believer" but...Either Marty or Doc would've needed to be Jedi's to be able to get the hoverboard strap around the foot of Doc... :lol: I know what you mean though...but he had that cool Toyota pick-up...what did he need with a hoverboard? :lol:

Also, when Marty went back to 1885, didn't he cut the fuel line? Is that also why they couldn't just start it and go?

Well, yes and no...they DID start the DeLorean after the fuel line had been cut...they fixed the fuel line and tried to put some high potent alcohol into it...it started...Marty gave it some "gas" and blew up the fuel pump.
You know, I just have to state the obvious here (

Universal makes the best Movies (overall) with the second best theme parks in the world, and Disney makes the best Theme Parks in the World with the Best Animated Features in the World. It's no wonder people watch these two so carefully aside from the closeness in Orlando... Just one more tip in their favor on any of these scales and the whole balnace will be lost. Universal Parks are more adult and Disney more kid friendly. It won't take much to tip the scales you know. I can think about Universal movies and hundreds of Good to Great ones come to mind, likewise with Disney Animation (movies and cartoons). Luckily Paramount only has hit and miss movies and more Amusement based theme parks. Three is just too much on a Major Scheme of things. Just having three major game systems out there hurts my head.

Well, you do have a point there Captain
IoA is more of a teen-adult park (but getting better towards being kid oriented)
USF is more of the same
MK is definitely a FAMILY park
EPCOT is an adult park...but slipping towards being a teen park...but still...good for the whole family. (but it's losing that appeal)
MGM is an adult park (for the most part) but good for the whole family.
DAK is a child park (kids love animals) and an older adults park (relaxation)...but is still good for the whole family.

Well, I consider MGM a kid park too... put it this way a kid can go there and spend a day doing totally different stuff from an adult or teen. PlayHouse Disney, Muppets, Parade, Honey I shrunk the kids playground, Beauty and the Bease, Fantasmic, Sci-Fi Dine-in, and even Star tours are good for most kids.

Thinking about picking up that Back to the Future trilogy box set this week for a stocking stuffer? You may want to hold off on that. Amid numerous consumer complaints over noticeably misframed shots in the widescreen edition of Parts II and III of the trilogy, Universal Studios Home Video announced yesterday that they will be repressing the discs with corrected framing, and these repressed versions will be included in all future runs of the box set.
While the shots - some of which ruin crucial jokes and visual gags - may be relatively minor to some, what to do if you've already picked up the set and want the corrected versions? A Universal spokesperson has told us that consumers unhappy with the current version (widescreen only - the full frame edition is not affected) can call the Universal Studios Home Video Consumer Hotline at (888) 703-0010 to request an exchange. While repressed versions of discs 2 and 3 (disc 1 remains unaffected) won't be available until February, Universal will provide corrected versions to those who have already purchased the set. Consumers will need to send the discs back to Universal at their own expense.

After carefully reviewing the posts on this thread since my last visit, I have decided that I am WAYYYY over my head as far as BTTF discussion.
I mean, BTTF is my very fav series of all time and I can discuss it fairly well, but D***! Ya'll take the cake!

I can't wait to see the special features on the BTTF set that I'd better be getting for Christmas! Then maybe I'll be able to say something relavent! :lol:

I'm with you Diva... I mean, I feel like I know quite a bit about BTTF but there is always those questions that go unanswered (that's what I love about them...trying to figure out how everything goes together)...and DMC is VERY knowledgeable (to say the least) about the DeLorean and the films.
