Baby chip board album

Okay, my sister had a baby in the beginning of August, so I decided to
make her a big baby scrapbook, and me and my mother each one of those "BABY" chip board albums. I have finished my mother's except for binding it. I used the exact same paper in the exact same places for the background paper for mine, but the pictures and embellishments will probably be a bit different. Anyway, here is what I have been working on (this is my mother's)...and I will get back to the challenges, soon, I promise!!

What did you do to get the darkened edges? I'm just finishing up a "LOVE" album, and my only thought to do it was chalk... but I'm scared it'll come off...:shrug:

That is prescious! I'm so impressed with the chipboard albums, I wouldn't have a clue where to begin. Your mom is going to love that, and I can definitely see why you had to make yourself one as well!

I used brown ink and just randomly smeared in on the edges. The sloppier the better!
