That's fantastic!!

When we were re-creating Soarin in my pole barn, we searched and could not find anyone else re-creating mini Disney attractions at home. So good to see we are not the only crazy ones.

That was pretty spiffy. How do they raise and lower the box once it's hooked into the pulley thingies? They can't possibly be doing it by hand.

It must be hooked up to some kind of mechanism. He mentioned some kind of switch on the floor.

if the rope goes through a set of pulleys, the weight is cut to fractions. It could be done, but im not going to ride it. :D

Go ahead and flame me, but I didn't think it was anything spectacular. In fact, I was kind of disappointed...

To be honest, if someone had shown me the video without telling me what I was watching, I defnitely would not have picked up on what was going on. It doesn't even really look like ToT's lobby. A few details here and there, but that's it...

Well it sure put to shame the Haunted Mansion recreation my cousin and I did when we were about 10 years old, I have to give them credit, very creative.
