Avengers: Infinity War

So I’m trying to not read into the poster billing, but I’m a little perplexed as to the arrangement of some of these actors.

Row one:
  • RDJ, Jr
  • Chris Hemsworth
  • Mark Ruffalo
  • Chris Evans
  • Scarlett Johansson
  • Benedict Cumberbatch
  • Don Cheadle
  • Tom Holland
  • Chadwick Boseman
  • Paul Bettany
Row two:
  • Elizabeth Olson
  • Anthony Mackie
  • Sebastian Stan
  • Danai Gurira
  • Letitia Wright
  • Dave Bautista
  • Zoe Saldana
  • with Josh Brolin as Thanos
  • And Chris Pratt
After the success of BP, I would have put Boseman ahead of Cumberbatch (at the very least put him ahead of Cheadle & Holland).

Secondly, I’m a little shocked that Evans isn’t ahead of Ruffalo. Hemsworth has definitely earned second billing, IMO, but Evans is Captain America, and seeing him billed fourth (for the second time in Avengers line ups) seems a little odd.

Third- no mention of Tom Hiddleston, Vin Diesel or Bradley Cooper.

Lastly- ‘and Chris Pratt’. I didn’t expect to see Pratt’s name in the ‘special’ mention category with Brolin, but there he is.

I know credit billing is a HUGE deal and agents etc are involved and I'm sure they were decided before Black Panther was released. Sometimes big actors get major billing and are barely in the film. I noticed Tom Hiddleston is not listed at all, so is he not in the movie much (first to die?) . "and Chris Pratt" was probably a negotiated to show his star power but can't be first billing Marvel-wise.

Just from the scenario that has been set up, a third Loki survival seems unlikely. Jeremy Renner probably has what amounts to a cameo, which is why he’s not listed, but I do kind of wonder about Diesel and Cooper.

It’s Groot and Rocket. A lot of people love those two characters so...

Guess who is still missing from these shots? Starting to feel bad for Jeremy Renner if he actually is in this movie.
Paul Rudd is possibly in the same boat. I really feel like it’s going to be 5 minutes of screen time for Renner maximum. Somewhere in between his Thor cameo and the 14 minutes he had in the first Avengers.

It makes sense not to promote them if they don't have a decent amount of film time. If there were posters and footage of them and then they have 5 minutes of screen time people would be mad.
Unless they intend to throw people off the scent, yep. I’m not that upset about Hawkeye or Ant-Man. The latter has his sequel coming out this summer, and the former seems to have a larger role in Avengers 4.

Okay, on Hawkeye, I can't find the article, but it is confirmed he is in Infinity wars, but not a major part of the fight, he gets sent on some other mission.

Also, I have seen one picture that if you put all the character poster together, it shows an outline of Hawkeye faded in....let me see if I can find it.
