I would say that you can add antman captain marvel to this, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the guardians gets it. I think since we haven't heard anything on contract extensions, its a good bet thor, tony and cap all get it. Either in part 1 or part 2 but I would be surprised if they make it past the 2nd movie. Cap has a chance to come back since they could do something where he "dies" but regenerates over time and comes back years later.

I should add Drax and Nebula to the maybe list. Between those two and Gamora, they have the deepest connection to Thanos, but I doubt Gamora will be the one to die.

And thanks, I think I'll add both Hank and Scott to the list (I think Scott's the only one showing up in Infinity War though? But I feel like the role will be pretty small due to Ant-Man & the Wasp coming out this summer).

Also, it seems like it's only in the Phase 3 films that Marvel has committed to actually killing characters who aren’t villains or parents:
  • Warriors 3
  • Ancient One
  • Peggy (though to be fair, she was incredibly elderly when she died)
  • Yondu
  • Zuri

So who might die for real this time (in this or Avengers 4)?
  • Loki
  • Heimdall
  • Wong
  • Vision
  • Hawkeye (though he could also just retire to his family and farm)
  • Pepper
  • Tony and/or Cap
  • Maria
  • Rhodey (though he could probably come back as a cameo/smaller role for Captain Marvel since that's set in the 90s)

Is Infinity War going to be the top grossing film of the year. Before BP everyone thought it would be but now I am not sure. There is only so much money people have to buy movie tickets and Disney putting out too many great movies.
