I never said it was the ride system, I said it MIGHT BE because it aligns what WDI Scot Drake has confirmed as the individual flight aspect, "but then again we could also be looking at Imagineering testing out the ride storyline within the DISH 360 VR facility at Imagineering."

Here's a link directly to that part of the video:

It's not clickbait, I never said that the photo there WAS the ride system. But the thumbnail of the video was referring to the the announcement by Scot Drake that "New and Innovative Ride Technology" will be used within the attraction, that we haven't seen at any other Disney Park.

You're right. You didn't say that photo was the ride system. (If it came across as me saying you did, I apologise)
My "borderline clickbait" line probably evolved from me being tripped up by the use of the word "confirmed" posted in the title and elsewhere.

For me, there's a contextual difference between saying, "Disney confirms it will use new ride tech" and "New ride tech CONFIRMED!" One obviously stands out as a snappier headline, but hopefully the difference is obvious.

For me, hearing an executive "confirm" a new ride system is coming to a park wouldn't demand it's own 10 minute exploratory video... but then again, I don't do this for a living.

Go easy.

I see what you mean, but you also have a 100 character limit for titles on YouTube, and only the first 5-6 words are displayed in the side bar etc. So it's always better to get the point across as clearly as possible, without having the side bar read "Disney confirms it will use new ride..." which could be seen to be more misleading than "New Ride Technology Confirmed for Avengers..."

The 10 minute explanatory video was also about the Spider-Man ride and explaining the context of what was said. I don't just read Disney press releases in my videos, anyone can do that. What I aim to do is explain the news, give additional insight and context like you'd expect from any mainstream news report.

Fair enough.

Best of luck with the channel.

Honestly... I’m stoked.

The first phase of Avengers Campus will open with a Spider-Man attraction, Doctor Strange show, Ant-Man and the Wasp restaurant and Marvel character rooftop stunt show. A second phase will open on an unannounced date with an Avengers E-ticket attraction. The existing Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout indoor drop tower ride will serve as the anchor for the new Avengers Campus.

A high-flying Spider-Man autonomous “stuntronic” robot is expected to swing by a web and perform midair acrobatic feats over Avengers Campus.

“This thing is just going to be eyebrow-raising and visible from a lot of places,” Finnegan said during an interview in his office, which sits about a three-iron chip shot from DCA.

Disney posted a slow-motion video to social media of a Spider-Man stunt robot performing somersaults and backflips against a black background at a “top secret location.” The video appears to show an autonomous audio-animatronic stunt robot developed by Walt Disney Imagineering Research and Development as part of the Stuntronics Project.

“It’s just going to be one of those things that we’re going to sit back and go, ‘Only Disney could and would do this,’” said Finnegan, who oversees 13,000 Disney California Adventure cast members.

Imagineering’s stuntronic robots can fly through the air, strike aerial poses and calculate trajectories to hit a prescribed target using on-board hardware, according to TechCrunch. The stuntronic robots use accelerometers, gyroscopes and laser range finders to rotate in midair and perform aerial tricks after being slung from a wire.

“We are that company that will do those sorts of things and not a lot of other places will take those risks and will devote the resources to a project like that,” Finnegan said. “I think that is indicative of what’s to come with the land.”

Riders on the new Spider-Man attraction coming to Avengers Campus will use hand gestures to sling virtual webs from Web Slinger ride vehicles at escaped spider-bots that have run amok.

“Its next level stuff,” Finnegan said. “It’s going to be really popular and really cool. It’s not height restricted, so it’s great for the entire family.”

Doctor Strange will host an outdoor stage show in Avengers Campus that is expected to use special effects and projections to simulate his Sanctum Sanctorum.

“He will engage with guests in ways that are very different from the ways our other characters do,” Finnegan said. “It’s going to allow us to tell some really cool stories in this land.”

During the daily Doctor Strange Mystic Arts show, the sorcerer super hero teaches the audience how to harness energy from other dimensions, bend the laws of time and space and unravel the mysteries of the multiverse.

The new land’s Pym Test Kitchen, themed to Ant-Man and the Wasp, will serve food that has been shrunk or expanded in size. The foods will be resized using Pym Particles, the same technology used to shrink Ant-Man and the Wasp, according to the backstory for the restaurant. Red Pym Particles shrink items while blue ones expand them.

I’m sure it’ll be gone faster than a limited edition popcorn bucket.

Then we’ll have to look at that purposeless crane for the next decade.
It will only take hitting one bird for that thing to never be seen again.

Any thought on where this spiderman stuntronic system will operate?

I've had a thought that it needs a large area that essentially the stuntronic and smash into without issue... I was initially thinking that behind the showbuilding on one side would be a big rectangular area, and then the guests could see it operate 'above' the building while it's actually behind, but upon glancing at the new building yesterday, I think it might be on top of it... so essentially right on top of the building where the crane is, is sort of an inset area that they can shoot this thing back and forth all day... I assume it will be extremely high maintenance and only operate for a few months.

went to the resort today for dinner and drinks and to get some walking done.

i stood near the area of the eastern ticket booths and security area on the eastern side. realized how big that piece of land is.

if they can get the eastern gateway going and then move security and ticket booths to a new hub area across the street they could really add something grand. That piece if land including the shuttle area would double the size of hollywood backlot. plenty if room at add several new additions including a large indoor coaster. DCA would then really become an even more worthy second gate

Hollywood land or whatever it may become could potentially be about the size of GE. Enough room for two whole rides! /s and a lot more

Dude you don't have to defend yourself to some of these people, your site is great and I'm always excited to see what video you have next., especially all the time and care you put into them. And not everyone wants to spend an hour reading or scouring boards (or have the time). You keep doing what you do man, most of us really appreciate it.

You can think what you want, but I never clickbait people, I don't mislead or lie in my thumbnails for clicks or views. What it says in the thumbnail and title is what is in the video. Clickbait would be a bait and switch, where you promise one thing and never deliver. It's easy to throw around the word clickbait as an insult, but please learn the meaning of the word before using it. Otherwise you do yourself a disservice.

I don’t think your stuff is clickbait, I don’t watch all of em, but i do when the material interests me. No matter what you do, or say, or think in this world theres always blowback.

It’s going to be on top of the Spider-Man attraction. The crane they installed is there to launch him.

This video goes over all the best theories of it:
