Lucky guess.I haven't looked in the Tron forum but I bet you'll find a "maybe when Tron opens at WDW, they'll fix Space Mountain."

I remember "maybe when Avatar opens, they'll fix the Yeti".
Considering the WDW rides are E-tickets, their negligence in those cases is more brazen IMHO. DAK only has 8 rides...one of which is a seasonal coaster. No for sure. You guys are right, fixing the broken Yeti and the decaying Space Mountain at WDW is the same thing as brightening some screens/ replacing some bulbs. 100

Yes. TSMM would cost next to nothing to fix.I’m not saying they aren’t negligent in certain cases. I’m saying let’s compare apples to apples.
The only way the cookies return is if Bob Chapek gets his $99 Space Cookie Premium Dessert Party.Disneyland can't even fix the broken lightbulbs in Space Mountain. I bet you a dollar the charging tunnels are still out after they get rid of Hyperspace Mountain. There will be no space cookie or rocks hitting each other like there was originally in 2005. There will be just a the star field and spinning galaxy at the top of the lift hill.

Or:Sometimes I don’t know if they re being cheap or if they re just so out of touch they don’t even realize the effects are missing.

$79 for APs!
The return of the space cookie is about as likely as the return of the space go-go dancers. I don't think they even know the effects are lost.Sometimes I don’t know if they re being cheap or if they re just so out of touch they don’t even realize the effects are missing.

It just comes down to passion - things like ensuring lights aren't burnt out and attractions are working properly is a rounding error on the annual maintenance budget, it just takes a passion to ensure they are done and realizing the little things are important. When I worked at the park decades ago, it was the passion of the employees and ops management that made it happen. It wasn't "policy" or budgets, it was just a bunch of people that insisted little things like burnt out lights were immediately fixed. In other words, they just cared. They're being cheap/don't care. If there is an effect that is not working on an attraction it's guaranteed a CM working that attraction has mentioned it to their management. Unfortunately management's response to something like that is always "we'll look into that" -_-
DL's middle management is really good at constantly telling their cast why nothing gets done or why things can't be fixed/changed, but are very bad at actually getting anything positive done.

This is what happens when something that doesn’t belong in the park, in terms of theme, is shoved in there anyway. They have to come up with a ridiculous way to make it fit.
a bug's land was just Tower of Terror's "garden," so at least we're not losing any thematic cohesion. Not sure if Cars Land gets a pass even though Radiator Springs is somewhere between Arizona and Kansas. This is what happens when something that doesn’t belong in the park, in terms of theme, is shoved in there anyway.
