A video game's success is based on how fun it is, not by its technological achievements. Even if this was an actual ride, just because it has its technology is superior doesn't mean the ride is better.
It does if the technology enhances the experience. One of the biggest complaints with 3D is the glasses, for many reasons. Having glassless 3D would enhance the experience over any glasses based 3D attraction.

Missed opportunity there. I wish they could just have a pane of glass to turn opaque during the transition scenes. Maybe the image is taking artistic liberties?

I mean a better for everyone solution is they just actually physically theme the transitions and add audio to continue the story. It seems possible since the “window” of the ride vehicle will pretty nicely frame what you’re seeing vs midway mania where you can look around and behind you

I know it’s fun to poo-poo this stuff, but there was some cool "Jarvis" tech on display where you could manipulate schematics with your hands. Not sure how it’ll be utilized in the land eventually... but I had fun with it.

I think Ninjago is a helpful reference for people to understand how the motion controls work but I wouldn't say it's fair to watch a POV and just imagine that with spider-man slapped on it. Think of it like Masters of Flight is to Soarin' as Ninjago is to Spiderman

But what is Avengers to FOP/ Soarin?

You give WDI too much credit. See DCA, GOTG:MB, Pixar Pier, Falcon:Target Run.

Well the show building in the concept art is HUGE. Looks to be similar in size to the Guardians Coaster showbuilding. Im hoping the kuka arm on a trac that Disney was developing for the Incredibles ride, that was never greenlit, might be used here. At the very least I think it will be a plussed version of FOP, possibly with actual forward/sidewise movement of some sort, which would be insane.

It is this flying rig. The first part is the ROTR vehicle. The second is the for this Avengers ride. The flying rig could have been used for FoP if they made it look like a dragon instead of using a stationary tron bike.

I'm not 100% sold it is this flying rig system yet. I mean it totally could be but I have a hard time imagining how that'll technically work. The concept art seems to focus on the idea that our jet pack seats are all individual so literally every single person has a flying rig?

A flying rig on a track only makes sense if you need to move from one physical set or prop to another physical set or prop. I think after you are dropped out of the Quin Jet you will be dangling above 100% screen.

Now, if for loading efficiency, they might be moving you and your screen around (kind of like Smuggler's Run rotates your cockpit away for efficiency). But I'm pretty sure there will be no track.

Yeah you re prob right. Just wishful thinking

Am I crazy for thinking Avengers Campus, when totally complete, might actually be more fun than Galaxy?
Just the whole experience just sounds more entertaining/fun. I’m not talking about how impressive the rock work is or the lighting package or.......
Just looks to me like I’ll have a better time there.
And I like GE better than most on here.

The facade is indeed flush with tower of terror where the old barn was. However I peaked through the wall and they were in the process of laying new tracks in front of Mission breakout. I now believe the new barn will actually be incorporated into the nearest Avengers Campus building at the end of the street.

You can see the steel through the trees. This is the edge of mission breakout from the fast pass queue. Essentially where the old barn sat. Potentially the trolleys still head over there.

A new building lies directly at the end of the roads natural path.
