Why was there never an Ant Man shrinkydinks set?

The Pym Test Kitchen, where you can buy a shrinky **** burger for the same price as the other DCA restaurants.

*It censored the word D ink?

Let's try again, shrinkydink.

I actually think this is a reasonably creative solution for a franchise that lacks food tie in (shwarma being a reach). They can do some pretty fun stuff. It goes without saying this is where I expect the bugs land nods to appear.

Expensive probably also goes without saying, albeit some of the Galaxies Edge food isn’t the worst.

The more I think about the E-ticket, the more I am starting to picture Back to the Future meets Flight of Passage with a very neat change mid ride. Or Star Tours that changes into Soaring.

I very much think the quinjet seats eject mid ride but each column will be on arms that swing out and turn into rows mid ride when the ride vehicle falls away.

I'm hoping for a supersize burger that feeds 4+ or things along that sort. There was a local chain in Oklahoma that had one back in the eighties.

Screw it. I’m not going to be negative about this anymore. Spider-Man is going to suck and Pixar Pier still sucks and Mission Breakout is absolute trash, but at least Marvel land is trying to fit with the California theme to some extent. It’s not perfect, far from it, but I can accept this. It’s not like I’m paying to go to DCA ever again.
Well at least you're trying to be positive, sort of.... :)

Yep. It does work thematically as here is the Avengers "campus" in the movies. This pic is from Civil War and that warehouse building is for Quinjets.

I don't think the Avengers box is as shameful as the Cosmic Rewind box, but it still doesn't look as nice as the concept art shown for hong kong. Makes me wonder if they will actually get this facade or if it's been scaled back to match ours

Yeah I'm optimistic that they'll do something creative. Yes this ride will be screen based but it looks like it'll have some really unique features. I mean especially if the chairs don't eject from the Quinjet at the same time I can imagine that being an amazing little moment where the lights change, Nick Fury or whoever starts yelling there's been a change of plans and we need to eject now, and one by one people start randomly dropping out of the ship into the projection dome or however it's gonna work. Could be really really fun to just look around never knowing if you're gonna be the one dropping

BTW, for those that keep comparing Ninjago for the Spidey attraction are not realizing its all suppose to be glassless 3D.

So while I get the comparison I think it'll be technologically more superior to Ninjago by that very fact. Which in turn makes it more superior to TSMM.
I thought this was AR on the glass pane of the vehicle.

Is Ninjago a sea world ride? The more apt comparison might be people thought Antarctica was comparable to Mystic Manor (before it opened). I wouldn’t bother comparing those companies.

A video game's success is based on how fun it is, not by its technological achievements. Even if this was an actual ride, just because it has its technology is superior doesn't mean the ride is better.

I think with the new concept art we can say the AR angle is most likely not true. It's just motion controls with 3D glasses. They're totally sticking their hands out of the vehicle so there is no pane of glass there. And while it's maaaaybe possible there would be AR built into the glasses, anyone who has tried hololens knows how far away we are from decent glasses based AR

Missed opportunity there. I wish they could just have a pane of glass to turn opaque during the transition scenes. Maybe the image is taking artistic liberties?

That changed then from the last time I looked into it. I missed it I guess during the presentation yesterday.

Apologies.

Ninjago is a Legoland ride. Similar style to all other shooters except it uses motion capture instead of a physical "shooter".
