I’m not excited by the Spidey ride, but what makes Universal’s so great? Granted, I haven’t been on it, but videos don’t make it look like anything special.

It's amazing in person, I've never watched it online. It's my favorite Universal ride of all time, and one of my favorite theme park rides I have ever been on.

at least the Avengers building is semi-rooted in the original movie content... unlike 'decorated box' TF building. But I give UNI credit for doing something with it.. vs 'hey, its still a movie studio bldg!'

I'm just pointing out that having a giant building with an Avengers logo visible from across probably many areas of the park is poor theming.

I'm not ready to jump on the sightline bandwagon yet... things like the hyperion are pretty large and I don't recall that part of Hollywood being a visual intrusion on the rest of the park. The close tree line along the parade path.. and the close buildings along the hollywood side have always hidden the far horizon in my recollection...

Don't forget the Spiderman attraction was supposed to be a unique ride system, yet it's the same ride as Ninjago at Legoland.
We rode Ninjago this summer. It was super boring and lackluster, but by our third ride, I finally figured out the secret to getting a decent score, and I got on the leaderboards for the day. The only problem was they took my pic when I was making the most horrendous face you can imagine. It was like halfway between a sneeze and grimace. So of course that was up for everyone to see until
someone beat my score for the day. We laughed so hard! lol 🥴

It looks much smaller than Mission breakout, or perhaps the concept art is just lying. I wouldn’t be too worried about it ruining the beautiful mission breakout skyline.

If the ride is infact Flight of Passage ride system, the ride height would be around 140 feet. If this is the case, I think the concept art is lying.

The D-Ring is an odd detail. Usually for hanging from a wire. Maybe our vehicle gets an assist. Maybe from that Quinjet taking off in the background.
The way the vehicle sits on its base does seem to indicate some movement. Toy Story spins, but some have mentioned this being able to slide.

I didn't realize it was based on the Ninjago system. That honestly blows my mind.

Ladies and gentlemen, there are approximately 1000 Vloggers on site and not one of them has their eyes on the prize. First official Avengers E-ticket construction watch photos.

I consider this my crowning achievement (it’s not under construction).

Ps this is actually the best spot still for Timon lot photos and I’ve had it staked out for years.
I see a pile of dirt! My god, it's huge...

Oh that's just Mission Breakout.
