Good on Imagineering to create a way for the kuka arm to be utilized in an attraction with what looks to be a pretty good guest per hour rate... but does this thing really need dancers to design the ride vehicle movement?

Also, I'm all for kinetic movement in the land and it's fun to be shook around... but just saying, I rode this at Legoland 20 years ago...

I find it funny that Legoland had an arm attraction 20 years ago... as well as a hand shooting ride 5 years before Spiderman opened...

Just Disney keeping up on the cutting edge of entertainment... I mean, Disney's arm ride was created with INTERPRETIVE DANCE! Groundbreaking!

To be fair, this kuka arm is a lot more than just that. The arms themselves move along a track, they pick you up to begin the ride, and it'll be at least slightly more themed.

I bursted out laughing when I saw the dancers with sticks in the video. This isn't even Disney's first time using a Kuka arm as an attraction, as Sum of All Thrills
at Epcot used it. They know this ride system's limitations and what it can do.

This was classic Disney Imaginiering burning money on stupid . I bet the only reason they hired those dancers was for this video in order to make this ride look more advanced and cutting edge than what it is.

Or They did it for reasons we have no idea about?

If the intent is visuals and kinetic energy, the dancers are worthwhile. A ride with boring choreo isn’t going to be as visually exciting as one with exceptional choreo.

Imagine if World of Color was just fountains indiscriminately spraying everywhere! That’d be lame.
Whatever it is people will find a way to complain about it.

90% of rides don't use a groundbreaking ride system, that doesn't make them bad. Shanghai Disneyland opened with Dumbo and a carousel. DLR hasn't had a new flat since 2012 (not counting a relocated Flik's flyers). This is going to be something totally different than any flat ride at the resort. And this will probably be the first flat ride that Disney has that will actually skew to an older demographic. I truly don't understand why everyone is bashing a neat little extra ride for the park.

Now I'm picturing new fountain shows being choreographed by a bunch of dancers with garden hoses.

Having just went to Legoland for the first time last month I’m trying to place this. Is this where they now have those rogue horses on a track? Also how did people get on that ride?
