Don't know about that.

Also reviews aren't an indication of Box Office performance. You'll have to wait and see how it actually performs out in the market, along with the other MCU movies being released this year.
Prediction: It'll do very poorly, as will Thunderbolts. Fantastic Four will be a financial and box office hit, however, and everyone will go "Is the MCU back???" only for Avengers: Doomsday to remind everyone that no, the MCU actually is, in fact, still bad.

Well thank you for your prediction. I'll be sure to note it down in my diary of important things to remember. ;)

Also what happens if you're wrong and the box office is good or even great on any of those you believe will do poorly?

Once again its time to bring up reports of its death is premature and greatly exaggerated -

I’ve followed the MCU since it’s beginning and yes it is dying and for the last five years, there surely has been more misses than hits

Misses:
1. The Eternals
2. The Marvels
3. Dr. Strange 2
4. Black Widow
5. Ant-Man 3
6. Thor 4
7. Moon Knight
8: She-Hulk
9. Ms. Marvel
10. Secret Invasion
11. Echo
12. Agatha All-Along

Hits
1. Spider-Man 3
2. Shang-Chi
3. Black Panther 2
4. Deadpool and Wolverine
5. Guardians 3
6. Loki
7. WandaVision
8.The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
9. Hawkeye

If Brave New World is a dud, that only adds to the misses and Thunderbolts doesn’t look doesn’t look too promising if you ask me.

It won't matter because the movies will have been completely forgotten within a year, just like with every other "successful" MCU project of late. Black Panther 2, anyone?
Hits
2. Shang-Chi
Was Shang-Chi actually a hit? Seemed like it was immediately forgotten. If it was successful, I would've thought they'd fast track a sequel.

Disagree on your list, especially Dr Strange 2 as you don't get to almost $1B by being a miss.

I think people have to understand the difference between "dying" and just people not going to a theater and catching it at home. Someone can still be interested in the overall MCU while not going to the theater or even skipping a particular movie. But what DP&W showed us is there is still a huge fanbase for the MCU and MCU-adjacent content.

Anyways, we'll see how the next few movies do this year and next year. I anticipate some may do better than others, I suspect Doomday will actually do really well just for the fact of RDJ coming back.

Cultural zeitgeist.
And who is the arbiter of that? As I see plenty of references to the MCU still thrown around to this day from internet memes to other media.

Heck I still see "I'm Marvel Jesus" from DP&W used just this past week.

Just because YOU don't see it as a relevant franchise anymore doesn't mean its not.

You know, I used to at least somewhat respect you.
No offense but I don't believe you, because if me just being a fan of something that you don't like loses respect well then there wasn't any there to begin with.

It doesn’t mean that the movies and shows haven’t been super lackluster and yes, while there is still a huge fan base and they are still interested but are they satisfied?

Well if there is a huge fan base still interested then you admit it’s not actually dying. As “dying” would indicate no more fan base left and no longer interested.

So that means as long as the content is good, which is subjective, then they will be satisfied. And DP&W shows they are still interested and can still be satisfied. So thank you for proving my point for me.

I would say that Dead v Wolverine is barely an MCU film. It is far more akin to Deadpool 1 & 2 than to any of the MCU films, including Guardians. It was fine for what it was. Cute, fun, forgettable.

The last solid MCU films for me were Spider-Man Far From Home and Avengers Endgame. I haven't seen an MCU film since that really captures the fun and thought. Guardians 3 was even a miss for me artistically as the film feels half-baked. And that's probably the best post Endgame film that the MCU has put out. Well, that and No Way Home which has moments of brilliance in the midst of some ham-fisted plot points.

Deadpool and Wolverine is a bad example, of course ppl would want to see the return of Wolverine especially in a multiverse scenario along with a long awaited Deadpool sequel. It was sure to be a hit, certain movies like that and the next two avenger movies are sure to be monumental hits. Same thing goes for Spider Man 3, Guardians 3 and Black Panther 2. Those movies had something that the fans really wanted to see. Spider-Man is always successful and fans wanted to see if both former spider-man’s would be in it, Black Panther 2 was sucessful because fans wanted to see what the movie would entail with the loss of Chadwick. Guardians movies were super popular and fans had waited six years for the sequel and were told that this will be the final one and it was rumored that some characters would die. These were destined to be moneymakers. Thankfully they were all decent movies. Can you say the same thing about Brave New World and Thunderbolts? Will they make a lot of money? I doubt it. What about The Marvels, Thor 4 and Antman 3? Those were “we will see how they do” movies and they have not been received very well.

Right. Marvel used to mean quality. That's not the case anymore. Marvel cannot rely on its name recognition anymore. People just don't care about the MCU as a whole anymore. Yes, there are occasional outliers, but overall the franchise has been left behind in the 2010's.
