Glad to see this is finally happening! When was the last time DLR got an exclusive new build? Cars land?
Seems like ages, the only thing I can think of is Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters but it used Luigi’s Flying Tires queue so it’s not a completely new build. The better question is when is the last time DCA built a completely new attraction without using something from the attraction it replaced?

I keep thinking of things then realising they used pre-existing structures like Snow White's Enchanted Wish, and Adventureland Treehouse, Emotional Whirlwind. I think the last truly unique attraction built from scratch was Cars Land and Red Car Trolley, which is wild

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad says hello (and SWGE) for the resort but as far as DCA its Cars Land.

Yeah that’s why I said some of it. A lot of it is an issue with how Disney is approaching trackless dark rides these days. They nailed it over 20 years ago with Hunny Hunt and ROTR doesn’t feel like a warehouse.

All of those ideas would definitely help. I think the biggest offenders on MMRR are the stampede and carnival scenes. Daisys room is also designed to be a holding room if you will to give the cars in the dead end finale time to get out of there. Of couree they could have gone with something different instead of Daisys dance studio. Strange how Donald barely has a presence on the ride.
I kinda love that Daisy gets some love on this ride. She feels sidelined too often :)

Is it because she’s not officially a part of the “Fab Five”?
And because she doesn't really have a character. At least, she didn't in the cartoons when I was growing up, not sure about the new Mickey cartoons. Minnie and Daisy suffer from being stock female versions of their counterpart. Mickey is a sweet and adoring character, making it easier to love Minnie by proxy. Donald is a woe-begotten grump who's troubles would build tension between himself and Daisy, making Daisy more of an aloof vague idea who gets upset at Donald for reasons beyond his control. Minnie is often the damsel, Daisy is the snob outside of Donald's league.

As time went on both Minnie and Daisy got more agency then just being Mickey and Donald's girlfriends/love interests in the shorts, various shows, movies, and even the comics.

But yes I would agree she hasn't been a primary character in many stories, and as I recall hasn't even had a solo story, making her more of a lesser side character in the overall hierarchy of Disney canon.

Like others, I too do like that she has representation in MMRR as she isn't represented a lot in the Parks overall.

I do appreciate that in the DuckTales reboot, they made her her own character (a hardworking fashion designer) and "fixed" her relationship with Donalad where she loved him for who he was and could easily understand him

Once again it's time to bring up that the MCU is dying, if not already dead.
