Man, the nighttime effects in this land will blow away pretty much every other park in Orlando.
Wow.
Has that concept art been released previously? It looks fantastic. Really cool work on the ground as well. They wouldn't be crazy enough to put it over the entire land, right? This would likely be in a few isolated areas, or the queue to the boat ride or something?
I'm fairly certain the boat ride is going in, as it looks like the concrete for it has been poured already.Yeah, that's what I posted in the other thread. It would be really cool to see it over the entire land but I'm not entirely sure how feasible that is.
On another note, in the past there was a lot of back and forth as to what attractions we were actually getting. Was that ever resolved? I really have my heart set on that boat ride.
Who all is playing Zapruder film with this like I am?
Looking at the stuff in the background, I see boards with different things on them, like the one most clearly visible:

Then there is Drum C____ND Puppets (Command?)

And one that they though enough to blur out because it looks like plans of some sort

Yeah no kidding huh? I'm on freaking pass number 7 of the video and getting zero done. Ahhhh what's a project deadline for if not meant to be broken??Man I am getting no work done because of this.
Don't tell Disney that or we won't see this thing until 2020!Yeah no kidding huh? I'm on freaking pass number 7 of the video and getting zero done. Ahhhh what's a project deadline for if not meant to be broken??
Hahaha...good point.Don't tell Disney that or we won't see this thing until 2020!
If this is the case, that speaks to area entertainment, which is nice to know!Drum Corp and Puppets
Good eye. It could also be that the concept art (or the model) was not done to scale. I'd side more on the side of the concept art, since artists tend to take artistic liberties on those. If this new model shot (front view floating mountain):
represents the same feature as this older one (rear view):

Then it would seem the floating mountains have shrunk considerably, judging by the human figurines.
Are you referring to another piece of artwork, because both the images are scale models. Late stage WDI models like this are definitely built with accurate scaling in mind.Good eye. How do you come to that conclusion? The scale looks about the same to me. It's just from a different angle. If this new model shot (front view floating mountain):
