Personal opinion... I think this is an excellent idea. Great for the land, and even better for our environment. It almost seems too generous to be true. Am I missing something?

It was announced on the Disney parks blog as well. You can even choose what species of animal your donation goes to. As far as it being too generous to be true, I think they've been doing things like this for a long time. Like the conservation pins you can purchase at the parks- I believe Disney matches the donation you make. This new initiative makes me really happy and I hope it keeps going for a while.

There's a stage by the drums you can hit and play so I have no doubt there will be some sort of entertainment. The area isn't large for the stage (I mean the area in front of the stage isn't large) so I don't know how it will ultimately work ....

My issue with their being live entertainment is that anything less than a Na'vi standing up there banging the drums will be disappointing.

I thought live entertainment was always part of the plan.
It was, and this is far from rumor. Two main entertainment offerings (sort of three) are planned. Night "show" on the mountains, which is more of a sequence than a show. The drum circle bit. Also, some of the things the nightlife will do that interacts with both the mountains and drums could almost be considered a show.

Well, I've seen a lot of Pandora already in videos and Pictures... but no restrooms yet... How are the restrooms themed? Anyone seen any pictures? :)

I don't believe this has been brought up in any posts so far, for those that have seen the full ride pov of flight of passage and have also seen avatar the movie it is clear that there is new fauna present in flight of passage. Do we know any of the names of these new pandoran species?

Jon landau has said some of the new things seen in the rides will show up in the Avatar sequels so it's likely we will learn of them then.

A nice little detail I noticed in the Ace pic of the water fountain, there seems to be a third fountain on top for filling water bottles. Now that's service! Hope they redo all the water fountains this way. I drink a lot of water, if it's cold this will be much easier than standing in line for a free cup of water to pour in my bottle.

The funny thing is, I'm planning on getting the NRJ FP so I can see the queue for FoP. Depends on what wait times look like when things actually open, of course.
The rest of the people I go with always think I'm weird, but I pretty much always try to do fastpasses like that. I try to look at which queues would be more entertaining/set up the experience and which rides are worth a long wait by still giving a satisfying experience. NRJ/FoP is a good comparison; both will have long waits, but NRJ I'd use the fastpass for because there's not a whole lot to the queue and the experience probably isn't worth a huge wait after the first couple times.
