Chyah... stuff from that site gets nuked here. Plus, pretty sure that video will be nuked from YT once Disney sees it [so... quickly d/l'd it. :) ]

Boat embarked at 3:45 and hit the return rails at 9:35. That's a 5:50 minute:second ride.

Either our insiders had wrong info (under 4 minutes), OR, Disney heard the complaints of 'too short' and slowed things down, OR, the previews are moving slow and they'll ramp up the speed at public launch.

Tonight at magic kingdom as we were waiting for the tram the cm started talking about pandora. Half the people had no idea what it was and didn't connect avatar. The funniest comments were about floating mountains, what is exciting about that. I loved it

For those of you that have been on Navi river Journey, how did you feel it compares to frozen ever after? was it a better, more immersive ride? I loved the Norway ride but was pleasantly surprised by frozen ever after even though there are some empty spaces. if navi river journey can match or exceed that then Id be happy with it.

I think the "hey-wa" you're hearing may be "Eywa," the Na'vi deity. But I like the "buddddgggeeett cuuuts!" option too. ;)

Pretty sure it's two at a time. While the videographer is being sorted, you can see the rear boarding area on the left and then the two unload areas on the right.

Looks like at least three to me. In this shot they are standing outside their boat and looking back on the rest of the load area. There is also a boat in front of the one where the videographer is that dispatches at the same time, but it doesn't appear to be in a load area.

I'm almost 100% sure it's two boats. What you're seeing are the two unload areas (where seconds before guests are seen exiting from that area), and behind that a boat on the beginning of the belt. Most Disney boat rides have one boat's length of holding space on each end of the conveyor belt before it dips back down into the water.

The cast member audibly sorts the videographer's party into rows three and four, suggesting rows one and two are for loading a boat ahead of him. Once the ride begins, the two boats are dispatched at the same time. The front boat continues down off the belt into the water without stopping, and the rear boat holds on the belt for a few more seconds to even out the spacing, exactly as it works in POTC.

There have been a few full ride videos and times have varied (like all boat rides) from just under 5min to a bit longer, as you noted above. I believe I read one of the posts from an insider on here, that a the time will typically vary from a short 4.5min journey to 5.5 minutes, with 5 min being the average.

Thanks, I wasn't thinking about unload.

Quick question... my wife gets motion sick very easy so she will not ride much. I want her to witness this queue. Is there a "Chicken out" spot for this ride so she can go through the queue and hop out at the end? I assume there is but is it a big deal to do it or is it an easy thing to do?

That is a stretch. I think Frozen is relatable because at its height disney shoved it down our throats. It is a cute ride. The river ride, thus far, I have seen nothing spectacular about it. I think it will be a great relaxing ride at the end of the day but nothing more than that.

Not even close, way more immersive. The sets are so close to the boat and deep at the same time that you actually believe you're in a Pandoran forest.

Traditionally, there is always a chicken exit, I would not worry, but you can ask the CM at the entrance.

I re-read my original post on this and I didn't clarify something. I wonder if the "chicken exit" is a difficult thing to get to and will a big deal be made about having to stop things or draw attention to her for doing it? I know it would embarrass her if they made it noticeable that she was leaving. For example, at EE she should be able to walk all the way to the numbered chutes and just walk over to the CM and exit past her/him.
