AVATAR land - the specifics

I wouldn't be shocked by 42" or 44" but feel that 40" seems the most likely. If the ride vehicle is very banshee like and you have less vehicle around you, I could see more confining restraints that might require a taller requirement.

I guess the question is will the restraint setup be more like Soarin or Tron. 44"-48" would be my guess.

Even if they don't do tiered Fastpasses, which they might, you're looking at FPs for the two Avatar attractions plus Rivers of Light. With one of your FPs tied up in the nighttime show, you won't be able to use any more than your three in the day. That means you're waiting standby for everything else.

I mentioned my personal touring plan earlier in the thread. I usually do four hour "blocks," either 9a - 1p and 4p to 8p. I'm planning at least three of those (12 hours total) for my August trip.

You think a FP for rivers of light will be "needed"?

Well I don't think the tourists will be blowing up their homes like the humans in the movie.... Then again all the foreign tourist chants and families with double wide strollers might make the na'vi send us back again.

If the next movies don't involve using missles to chop down trees I will be upset.

I would use it. I actually liked the FP for the electric light parade at MK when they had it too. One of the worst parts of a Disney vacation for me is waiting around for shows/parades and especially if there is limited space. I know a lot of people thought it was a waste of a fast pass and it also limits your ability to use more than 3 FPs since your 3rd one isn't until close to the end of the night and you can't add more until you use your first 3.

If you look at some of the photos, the ground is wet in very specific places in tight formations, directly underneath floating mountains. I believe they run them (waterfalls) before park open and the residual is on the concrete.
