im curious if the boat ride goes back out side to east of the boat ride building...if you look at this picture between joe and toms head is water with trees on the building blocking the view (behind toms head)

Well, the Soarin 2.0 foundations are clear.

No motorbike coaster then...

Right. And it doesn't look like there's much, if any, room for future expansion of this land. The only undeveloped area is south of the main show building, and I presume that will remain "backstage" support area.

Possible boat ride layout...?

Well, at least a portion is correct. The rest is a fair assessment.

Looks good. How long of a ride should that be compared to other boat rides?

I'm guessing in the 10-minute area. Comparable to the other boat rides, which are long and slow-moving.

I think that water feature in the model is at a higher elevation than the boat ride will be. The boat ride will be approximately at grade, and that water pond/fall area looks to be elevated (well, it obviously is since the water has room to fall). But that water may be on TOP of the c-ticket show building.

elevated concrete just above crane just to the left of the boat ride...in fact I think this is part of the structure will be part of the floating mtn rock work

Ok, I think you are talking about the U shaped area. Did you happen to notice the three gray port-o-johns above, (and further away), by the white truck with man standing next to the bed? There must be actual Na'vi working on this project.:D

all of the 'elevated' work you are seeing is not going to be seen aboveground... they look to be foundation walls being poured in pits... just like a poured foundation for a standard family dwelling. you can tell by the PVC stand pipes running down into the pits to draw off rainwater/water table seepage.
edit::: with the exception of the u shape, it seems to be a single story above the pit it is in

Alright, can someone smarter than me figure out track length and then we can probably determine ride length from that.
well the building is slightly bigger or about the same size as Little mermaid...im assuming the outside portion makes it slightly bigger so im guessing 8 minutes or so
total guess form someone clueless

Omnimovers can progress at whatever speed one programs, but I feel like boat rides tend to move along slower than the Omnimovers.

I agree. While some boats may be propelled at speeds similar to that of omnimovers, the spacing and log jams add arbitrary lengths to the ride.

For example, if Pirates is, say, an 8-minute ride from load to unload, it can easily be a 10-12 min ride when traffic is backed up at unload (which is 99% of the time).

Just did a quick overlay of LwtL on Pandora, and footprint wise it takes up more or less the entire attraction space area, incl. the simulator. However, I would say that LwtL takes up a much larger footprint than other boat rides since it needs to have actual capacity for its content in the greenhouse area and can't just fake size.

With absolutely no numbers to back it up, that scale seems really off.
