It really is quite comical how Joe Rohde spends money. Disney was getting sick of his research trips so they started assigning him projects based on imaginary areas. So what does Joe do? He finds a way to travel to Pandora and double the budget. If Disney seriously thinks Mission Breakout will be a cheap overlay they're in for a rude awakening. He's going to find a way to travel to Knowhere, Morag and Asgaard just for kicks.

...But if that's the price to pay for this

then Disney needs to shut it and pony up the funds. Joe is expensive- yes- there's no denying that, but he's also quite the visionary. He brings worlds to life.

I can only HOPE that they send his to Asgaard and/or Knowhere. Yes, please.

*Disclaimer, I know he didn't do Fantasyland, but it's an example... and I've been itching to post that Ghetto Disneyland pic for a while

I'd love to see what percentage Joe's trips make up of the project's final budget. His trips are not the reason the projects go over budget - it's his attention to detail and quality (and it SHOWS).

I apologize for getting off topic but considering this is somewhat connected to avatar and Disney I figured I would share and give us stuff to talk about until we get more avatar news. In 2014 it was announced that Cirque Du Soleil will have a theme park in Mexico set to open 2018. From the concept art I've seen on the web I would put it on par with being as aesthically pleasing to the eye as avatar land. Anyone who hasn't heard about this I implore you to check it out. Something else to look forward too!

All I've seen of it is from google images about a minute ago. It does for sure look nice but I wouldn't put it on par with Avatar at all I don't think.
