AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I actually wonder the "arrangement" of the chairs or seats. How many persons per "banshee" ?
This is just a guess but there will be 3 banshees per level. The seats will be on the wings of the banshees. So each wing will hold up to 5 people. Again this is just me speculating.

That wouldn't make sense to me, you wouldn't ride on the wings of a creature that is flying. If they are going to go through the trouble of having the ride vehicle be a banshee it would make sense to sit on it like you really would.

Agreed. If you are going to go with the concept of multiple people riding a single banshee, then the more sensible arrangement IMHO is the banshee carrying a gondola where the guests sit (and an AA Na'vi riding the animal)

That said, if what has been suggested in this thread is true and you are seated like on the Tron ride, then it would seem to indicate each rider might be on their own banshee.

No, no. All it takes is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust.

Oh, wait. Sorry. I seem to have mixed up my flying equations.
nah, your equations are right, just someone locked out your destination coordinates (both time and location); and someone crossed the mustard and ketchup inlets...

Yeah i think you're right- more than 1 person can't mount a single banshee while sitting the same way as TRON. However, if people had their own banshees they would have to be pretty small to cram as many of them as possible into those rooms. They would also probably be really expensive if they were AA's, but then again the description JR gave indicated that riders would be sitting on the banshees and you could "feel them breathe" or something like that (which makes me think AA).

Is this supposed to be like a The Simpson's ride type of thing? I can't even begin to guess what the banshee aspect of the final product will be like because I don't know the set-up. I do know that there are four theaters, and believe they load on multiple levels, but could anyone fully explain it? I can't find much through the searching. Thanks.

At this point there's so much going around its hard to know what it will be exactly. Kind of exciting.

Based on the leaked plans it appears to be Vekoma's Panoramic Flight Simulator but probably with a different kind of seat.

Agree, Lore wise it wouldnt make sense. It honestly would make if you could ride on top and on bottom of the banshee body.
or sitting in something that the banshees are holding with their claws.

unless they are simplistic AA's.. (like the raptor at Raptor Encounter in IoA)
