AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

The gap isn't honestly all that wide. In theory, once these two new attractions and Rivers of Light come on board. I still think TDS is also light on attractions and very much adheres to two main attractions per land.

Purely in terms of attractions, TDS is no Disneyland. Controversially I'll say DCA is technically a step above it in the menu line up (not consistency though).

Both parks (AK and DCA) sorely lack a lavish, E-ticket, slow moving dark ride like Sindbad. That's the big differentiator really. Theme still has its clear winner in TDS.

Completely agree.

Also very sad that TDS seems to have given up on expanding their collection of original attractions and is mostly building (amazingly themed and slightly different but still) copies of US rides.

Toy Story Mania, Turtle Talk, Magic Carpets, Soarin, and even ToT to some degree

I don't get all the hate AK gets, don't get me wrong I am excited for the additions but whenever I've gone I've been able to spend a large portion of the day in AK without getting bored, albeit I am a wildlife lover but my family and my ex also enjoyed spending the time in AK. The alcohol serving helps.

I agree but it seems TDS has the incredible attractions to match the theming. Overall, DAK does not with only a few exceptions.
Tds has a deeper attraction lineup and all in all is pretty close to perfect as a theme park. However, I'm still partial to the best rides that Florida has to offer over the best rides of TDS. For Tokyo it's the entirety of the experience.e

I think the Safari more than makes up for it and is the best attraction in either park.

They're replacing storm rider with a Nemo ride.

Animal Kingdom definitely has some problems (Kali is too short, and EE's Yeti needs to be fixed), but it has one of the best attractions on property (Kilimanjaro Safari), and has some of the best shows on property (Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo, Flights of Wonder and It's Tough to be a Bug). And overall, I think Africa may be the best land in all of Walt Disney World.

It needs a few more rides, sure but what's there won't go away. If someone doesn't appreciate it now, it's suddenly going to be a better park because they open a Jungle Book ride or Mystic Manor? The Yeti working doesn't make the park any better or worse than it is now. People are against Pandora and find ways to knock the rides before it even opens. IDK. If they can't appreciate what's there now, will they ever?

I'm talking more general public.
