Seems about the time. Then we'll give up hope by month 5 or so and within a matter of days we'll get some random website chartering a flight over the park, an update from Nearmap and one from @photoflight for good measure.

Of course when that happens we surmise that the random website chartered a flight with @photoflight, he also took his own pictures during the flight and then sold rights to nearmap...

at this point i'd rather see updated aerial pictures than breathe air

I've been holding my breath for a month, but look what I found! @MickeyXtreme just posted these and several more on twitter https://twitter.com/MickeyXtreme

Looks like the mess hall restaurant is finally vertical.

Those yellowish roots in the foreground look really cool. This also gives us a good idea of how much rock work is left to be done. There is still a good bit that hasn't even gotten past the steel skeleton phase.

How long is the boat ride predicted to be? From the aerials that show building looks like it's mostly for the banshee ride.

Wow. Those pictures show a ton of progress. The yellow root-looking supports are particularly cool.

I hate to judge and criticize things before they're finished, but one big concern I have is being able to see the showbuildings. The rocks don't fold over the top of the showbuilding for some reason, instead they stop a couple feet short of the top. Why, I am not sure. All I'm saying is that the building better not be able to be seen, becuase that would ruin any illusion or magic that they're going for.

I think what you are actually seeing is the gap between the two. For this project the rock work and show building are 2 separate structures that aren't attached to each other. At this angle, the gap between them makes it look like the rock work is "shorter" than the building when I don't think that is actually the case.
