We will have to see.I always felt the rockwork details take the most time. The rockwork for the BatB area in Fantasyland took around a year.
Id say its going to be the hardest theming for Disney so far.

Good thing they have one of the best in charge if the rock work. But you correct, probably one of the hardest theming yet - especially at night time.We will have to see.

Is it just me or does this seem miles away from being finished? I'm guessing a late 2017 finsih.
Thanks for the time line. It helps that there are parts of the floating mountains being constructed off site and being brought in. It's coming along nicely. You can start to see some color being added to the mountains.
Radiator Springs Racers November 2010, Opened June 15 2012. Note they haven't even started on the round hub cap.
I still say Pandora looks 'ahead' or at the very minimum on pace with that comparable and I'm still saying first half of 2017.
Sorry bud, go try and stir up trouble in another thread.

Yeah, I am skeptical of the 2016 rumors, but I agree we are on track for early 2017.
Thank you so much! Can't wait to see how these images relate to the map released at D23.
thanks again man!
I think it is the other end of the path from the Harambe theatre area. These pics were a great Thanksgiving present!thanks again man!
I'm wondering what the cleared area that is left from the old bridge (infront of tiffin's) will be.
Late Nov' 2015
I'm still wondering what the purpose of that gap between the rockwork/mountains and the show building is. Any ideas?
There's a hunge chunk of space left unused befind the show buildings.
I'm guessing that's where the coaster was planned to go in.
I'm aware second phases don't happen, but any chance imaginners left it there with the hopes they'd build the coaster later?
