for those what haver seen it, a video from a well known poster

I seem to recall from posts on here the problem was the cast were proper artistes rather than Virus like lip sinkers

Teehee. Lip sinkers.

The Festival of Fools at DL was incredible, something I'll never forget. Also, the Lion King parade was top notch.

(will watch video at home to compare this show at DHS to the festival of fools and see if it's the same/comparable, Im not sure off hand)

:/

Im still surprised this is actually being built. So much more they could do with the space...especially with rights to Star Wars....Avatarland? I've never actually made it through the whole movie, to this day.

I only go to Photo Ops when the grand kids are in two and than because they want to. I have said it before, when you have people waiting in line for over an hour to have pictures taken with the Disney Princesses, you understand why Disney has to open more photo ops every year. It may not be what I want, but like it or not there sure is demand for it. When Avatar opens in 2017, people will be wanting pictures with the charters form the movie.

One would hope, J.C. would prohibit walk around characters from the movie like Jake, etc. like JK Rowling prohibits walk around main principle characters in the park.

I support this post ...

... and your avatar ... GREAT picture. Dye that hair white and I see Queen Elsa.

I do not think for safety of the actors and guest, that you could have walk around characters any place in Walt Disney World.

I meant photo ops with any main principle characters. I doubt you'll be able to have your photo taken with Jake for example. Like WWOHP, for example.

Never saw Hunchback, so I'll just take your word for it.

Disney does surveys, people say MORE PHOTO OPS. Just trying to improve guest satisfaction.
are you 100% sure the people said this? and not just a lame cost cut cookie in the disguise of "ppl wanted more of XX so we remove this more expensive thing!"

I think he was being sarcastic, but based on the crazy lines at a majority of meet and greets I would say it's not far from the truth. For me I'd rather pay a premium for a character meal like Chef Mickeys and get all those character meets over in one shot.

. If everyone wanted photo ops, they'd be in Vegas, if no one wanted them they'd be gone or greatly reduced from Disney parks.

My husband wouldn't mind waiting for a photo op with a showgirl....

However, when we went my girl was three. Most rides were walk-ons However for a three year old, most rides are scary. Even kid friendly rides have at least one dark scary part (I'm looking at you TLM & JITI). A lot of the rides we could only do once and the M&G's became a HUGE attraction for us. That's actually what we spent most our time doing & we will cherish it.

It appears that the South Florida Water Management District permit for the Avatar project has finally shown up. Unfortunately it's very light on details and currently doesn't contain a plan for what is going to be built.

They are on to you;)...I guess they really don't want the details out.

Ok, here is what is in the permit I found today. It contains a map of the drainage basins within AK. I have overlayed that map over a satellite image of the park. For each basin the permits list an increase in building coverage and a decrease in pavement coverage. Here are the numbers, each is the number of acres increase in buildings and decrease in pavement.

Basin A: .31
Basin CDE: 4.01
Basin FG: 4.12
Basin J: .72

These numbers bring up more questions then they answer.

So increased building coverage means more rides in each area right;). If it was only that easy...
