Autograph Pens

We used retractable sharpies on our last trip and they worked out well. My daughter would open them for the characters. Then, they didn't need to worry about a cap. The only issue was a few times the characters ended up writing on themselves... :lookaroun

Just dont use Sharpi Minis or small pens like that. Sharpies that click are the best but pens work pretty well too.

We bought one in Disney years ago... I would suggest any pen that is a bit fatter then a regular pen so the characters can hold them better.

Definitely not a resort pen. Anything with some bulk to it because they have a hard time holding smaller pens, since they only have 4 fingers and very thick fur. Also be sure to have autograph books that are easy to write on, whether you make your own or buy one. One sheet of paper will not really work for them.

Hi,
Thanks. I just kept hearing about Fat Pens so I thought maybe it was something special or a specific kind that worked the best. Or maybe even a Disney themed Fat Pen? Just thought I would ask since I keep reading about it.

They do sell a long kind of fat disney pen on property, but the ink isn't very good in it. We had to exchange ours twice and it kept not working. I like the sharpies better.

The characters have all signed THOUSANDS of autographs with hundreds of different types of pens. Pretty much the only kind that would seem to actually give them problems are anything smaller than an average pen. So if you were considering: Kooky Pens, Sharpie Minis, or golf pencils, I would rethink those ideas.
