autograph books

This is my first trip to Disney and I'll be going in August (I'm going to die from the heat!!!) but I have been hearing about the autograph books and I just planned on buying the regular ones from the Disney store but then I heard about some that had the characters pictures on the pages! Does anyone know about this or where I could get the from? Plus are there any books that have pages for the autograph and then a place for the picture. I would like the book to have more than like 20 pgs in it because then I feel it's a waste because they are exspensive. Please help!

Before DS sold the books we bought ours at the World of Disney..However I looked online at the DS and their much cheaper at the DS vs. WDW..Might consider that..Also they never had the one you're talking about at WDW of course that was 2yrs ago..

They sell them at every Disney Resort hotel gift shop and many places in every park. My daughter still has several from her trips when she was younger.

Ive seen people who have made their own with pictures.....Its pretty easy just buy a note book from the dollar store...print and glue some pictures into it.....Or just buy the normal no picture book from virtually any store on disney property.

They have a princess one that holds pictures and they used to have a pirates one too. I don't now if they still have the pirate one. You can always buy character stickers and put them on the pages....

I make my own. I'm in the progress of making DD's for this September's trip. There are tons of free Disney clip art online, just do a search for the character you are looking for.

Last year, I made her book in a 5x7 format on a nice card stock, thinking that the book would be easier to hull around. There was a page for the character to sign, and then the opposing page was for a picture to be pasted on later. This year, though, I'm doing 8.5x11, again on card stock. I plan on inserting page dividers to easily locate the character we are meeting. All the characters we met were very impressed and pleased to find they had their own customized page to autograph. As a result, DD got extra attention.

I'll take some pics of her book from last year. And I'd be more than happy to share the clipart I've found-just PM me an e-mail address to send. But I'm not sharing the pages I've designed. LOL sorry.

that's an awesome book!!! that is basically what I am talking about and since I now know that those are what people are making I am thinking about doing that but I just don't have the time with working all the time and I'm taking summer courses and I'm leaving for NY in a few wks!! AHH!..I might buy a regular disney book and add stickers to it or making one by and making a pg with the characters face is the background

There are so many kinds...it is just what would be best for you. For example, there is a traditional book - you can see it on disney.com under shopping - disney merchandise - that you can sign both sides of all the pages - maximizes your signatures. However, there is another kind you can get that gives you a photo sleeve to put a pic in and sign on the opposite page. And I have created one for my God Daughter - and hopefully some day for my kids - that is more like a scrap book set up. There is a place to sign, a place for pics if they meet that character more then once and then a place for text.

I got the official one this trip - the one that in the parks you will see most people have - that is just for signatures - and I have the characters sign on the same side and I leave the other side open for a photograph.
