Auroragirl's Trip Report: Sept 19-25

Hello all!!
I'm not brand new to this site... I usually check the forums a few times a week, but this will be my first TR!!!
Most of you know my hubby... WDWMazprty! He has already started the TR, but I just wanted to add in a few other details and, maybe, a few different pictures. Please check back to his TR when our Photobucket account resets itself, since he does have most of our vacation pictures....

I guess I should start when we finally told the girls (DD8, DD3) that we were going to Disney. It was the hardest secret to keep!!! A WHOLE YEAR we kept it from them. But their reaction is just the BEST!!! Here is a video of when we told them... (lower your the vol. down!!!)

The road trip started... and 11 hours later.... We were finally in Florida!!!!

FINALLY.... The Magic Begins!!!

We checked in at POP early Sunday morning.... Did online check in, so we were out in under 10 minutes!!!! Ready to hop on the bus to Magic Kingdom, so we can get to Kona Cafe for our breakfast reservation.

One quick stop at MK...

Before getting on the monorail to Polynesian Resort...

We really enjoyed Kona Cafe. Oure breakfast was GREAT!!! I can't believe I dont have a picture of the Tonga Toast (I know the hubs has one)... But it was delish! Me and my little one shared one plate... Their scrambled eggs are AWESOME!!!

So, back to POP for some fun in the sun... but not before surprise #2!!!!
The girls had no idea their cousins (DS8, DD6) were coming too!!! What a SURPRISE!! I wish I had a video camera at this point too...

We went to Disney with my sister & her husband and their two kids... All NEWBIES!!!

That final picture... that's what makes these family trips to Disney worth it. That's just... precious.

We had an awesome time!!!

Even though we were with the 'newbies' and weren't able to go at our 'normal' pace, it was so much fun being able to be there with them. It was great seeing their expressions.

Crowds were nuts!!! I was really surprised! Who knows if it was the free dining or just the 'luck of the draw'. I hope never to find crowds like that again... I HOPE!!!!

Of course we are already trying to plan our next trip. And once I got home we recieved an email for 30% off resort stays.... :lol:

Tell me about it!! She was so tired... but I couldn't resist not taking a picture!!!! You get exhausted, but its such a good tired feeling. I'm ready to go back, now if I could!!!!

The girls are already asking to go back!!!!

I said it in your hubbie's TR, and I'll say it again here.. your family is ADORABLE.
And good on ya for the face paint. It's one of those things my sister and I always bring up when we're at Disney.. "MOM, remember how we ALWAYS used to want to get our faces painted and you said NO?!". She's used to it

PS: You made me want to try 1900 Park Fare for dinner. We did the breakfast buffet there last trip, and it was great.. I love the Cinderella characters though. Definitely something I'll push with the fam!

Face painting was so much fun! I wasn't going to do it, but when it was my youngest girls turn, she just decided she didn't want to do it!!! But we had already paid for it... so it was either me or the hubs .... Ha ha ha ha... I told him he should let his inner-pixie out, but he disagreeed. :ROFLOL:

You both did a trip report!! I love it!! I think my favorite picture is the girls running down Main Street. That is just adorable!
