I enjoyed Narcoossee's last time we stayed there. The fresh catch was amazing. Maybe see you around the parks. We're at the Yacht on the 25th.

And 40% off is awesome. We get that with the airline discount but it's hard to touch otherwise.
Yay! :p

I've been quietly going insane at work today. My concentration is non-existant and my boss is sitting in his office laughing at me. Everybody knows my son and I are leaving tomorrow morning and they all know how crazy I'm going... Fortunately, they're all very tolerant of me in this regard, partly because they're used to it [I go a lot ;) ].

I suppose it's a good thing I'm liked and am good enough at my job that I don't get in trouble when this happens, everybody knows the work gets done.

Sometime this afternoon the boss will take pity and send me home early... Then I can finish packing!

Land at MCO in ~25 hours...

How about World's Meanest Boss. My boss wasn't happy when I told her I'd be off a week ,and didn't even bother to ask why, just "that's an awful lot of time to take off & hope you got a good sub & you don't have enough leave w/o cause do you?".

And Im sure, you shot her a smile and under your breathe said *you so wish you were me* LOL, but be the better person, bring her a token from Disney, at the very least it will bring a smile to her face. (Then watch her ask you for your suggestions to plan a Disney vacation) Karma my dear wdwmagic sista, karma

Monty you should know that people such as I dont stay at the GF, though we do like to carry out a function test on their facilities.

Citricos was a very nice meal. Attentive servers who know how to keep a chaps glass charged.

We actually got a meal comped at Citricos once because the service was sooooo bad. But Narcoossees is on our frequent visit list.

Monty - have a great trip and I want to hear all about the tour when you get back!!

Pardon my bluntness, but what did you expect? I've never heard of a teacher taking a full week off from school for a vacation, after just having 2 months off, and bragging about it on the internet. I can't imagine any administrator going along with that.

Teachers where I live are not allowed to take off during the school year for any reason - maybe a day for a wedding or funeral but certainly not a week. And even to take the one day they get a lot of flack for it.

We were allowed 2 "personal" days per year (non-cumulative) but had to give a valid reason for taking them (attending a graduation, funeral for a non-family member, etc.), and they could not be taken consecutively except under special circumstances.

I understand. However, she knew about it last year when I told her I was taking off for my 15th anniversary. Summertime is not always ideal for any vacation, especially cruises. My principal took a week off last year to go to Italy w/ her daughter. I didn't take any days off and have accumulated over 55 days leave in the 6 years I've been there. Believe me, I feel guilty enough.:( I just think you should be able to take leave as you see fit, as long as you have it & especially someone who doesn't take very much "sick" leave to begin with.
I don't "brag" about my summers. I work as a tutor and I also volunteer at school during the summer. Just saying. Everyone's circumstances are different.
