Day 2

Edith experienced my low key favorite attraction, F.E.A and did great. She is completely covered in the ride photo by the two people in front of us. We did a few pics with the toll

I stepped into the restroom and for moment I thought @amjt660 had come down to see us!

Day 2 continues

Zeldas family was supposed to meet me at Epcot but they jad gone to the pool and their son was finally getting the courage to ride the waterslide and they stayed for longer to let him enjoy it. They were pooped and stayed in for the night.

Edith amd I rode Remmy again and then headed over to YC for dinner

I got a burger at Ale and Compass. It wasn't nearly as fun as being there with my homie @amjt660 .

We headed back to Boardwalk and had one last potty break for Edith before calling it a night.

Day 3 Wednesday

Had a great walk on a peaceful Boardwalk

Spotted this prince dev verified hidden mickey in the light fixture!

We got ready to head out to the bus for MK

I arrived at the bus stop at 9:38. Next MK bus said 9:50. Every few minutes it kept increasing. At 10:10 it jumped to 10:20. Several AK busses and Springs busses had cam and went. Edith took a nap

The MK bus arrived at 10:25. By now there was a lot of people waiting to get to MK. Edith and I headed to the back row of the bus and I sat down and she was next to me. As more people got on (the bus was not full and it didn't get completely filled up by the time we left) the driver comes back amd tells me I need to put Edith under the seat!??. There is a small area with metal bars on the side of the seat extending to the floor. Here's a pic of where he was referring to, behind the their feet.

Edith is 80 lbs and would not fit in there and it would be very dangerous as well and that's exactly what I politely said to the driver. He told me that's the way it works with dogs on the bus. Lol. I repeated what I said prior (politely). He said she must go under the seat. I said, "Sir, I will not put her under that seat. It's not gonna happen". He sat there starring at me. I was prepared to ask him if he would ask a parent to put a child ( a living breathing animal) under that seat to make room. Room that was not needed as there were avaiable seats. And also if they hadn't taken nearly an hour to get a bus to the resort they wouldn't have an issue with busses getting filled. We had a starring match for a few more seconds and then he returned to the front of the bus and we pulled off a few minutes later.

The people sitting around us all agreed that it was an odd request he made and Edith would definitely not fit under there. They complimented Edith on her good behavior as we chatted on the way to the park

As we were coming to the red light near the turn for Wilderness Lodge, the bus driver had to hit the brakes for something (probly a car cut him off) and everybody had to brace themselves. The woman next to me said that's exactly why it would.have been dangerous to put her under there. I agreed.

Day 2

Wednesday

It was hot. Staying hydrated was the plan!

We rode HM first (I need to call and get the rode photo). I never otoced this rose on top of the grave. Is it always there?

Next was Pirates! Edith really seemed to enjoy the ride. Ears up and head titling

Castle pic. Edith gave me her version of the middle finger (turning her head)

Cooled off for a few in the shop. A very kind CM saw Edith laying on the cool floor and said "let me show our good spot". She brought us to a spot where the a/c was blasting down.

A few minutes later another CM passed by and said "hey you found our spot"!

A rose appears occasionally on Leota’s headstone.

More often a long-stemmed rose can be found draped atop Master Gracey’s tombstone. I was disappointed it was not there last week. Perhaps a hurricane casualty?

Wednesday continued

After our break in the store. It was a water break for Edith

Followed by a potty break

She enjoyed watching the train.

Then we hopped over to Mermaid. I got a blurry selfie in our clamshell

Wednesday

The plan was to meet Zelda amd her family but when they had brushed her that morning, her mom found some very irritated skin under her fur. They took her to a local vet and she had a skin infection. She would require antibiotics and pain medication. Zelda is on the sideline for the next few days.

I hopped on the monorail over to Poly for lunch as it was getting hot.

Edith did great.

Soon it was time to eat! Captain Cooks was the spot.

And BBQ nachos was the meal! Delicious as always.

We were headed to the room via Epcot monorail from TTC

Wednesday

We stopped at Canada pavilion for a Blanche de chamble. It was my first beer of the day and it was around 3:30 or so. One of the CMs brought Edith a cup of water. She asked if it was her first visit and if she wanted a pin. I had completely forgot to get her one!

The CM whipped up one just for her and I insisted she get a photo with Edith. She was very happy to oblige. Edith was very interested in the pin!

Edith insisted we ride her favorite on the way out. Remmy! I'm trying to get her to like Frozen but Remmy is the bees knees for her.

On our way back to the room I got some pics of the refurbished area of the bkardwalk. It looks great. You can see the before and after on each side.

Edith got some lunch and I took a shower. Whe. I got out. I found Edith had made herself right at home relaxing on the couch

I was watching a video my assistant trainer had posted on Instagram and Edith heard her voice and perked right up. Edith has known Lis since she was a baby amd adores her.

I had snagged a VQ for Cosmic Rewind so we relaxed until our group was called then headed out.

When I got off the ride I was chatting with the guy sitting next to me. He was from Ireland and we were chatting away as we strolled along. We exited the building and continued talking. As we got to the entrance of Creations shop I had a feeling I left something behind. I checked my pocket and had my cell phone. My sunglass were on my head. What could it be??? Oh yaaaa? EDITH!!!

The kennel room in Cosmic Rewind is behind the door where the queue splits to go to the left train or right train side. A shirt hallways leads to the exit of the ride.

One thing I was not a fan of is they don't allow you to skip the show scene like at Haunted Mansion. I had asked when we entered as I feared she would get stepped on when people cram into the last showroom but they said you couldn't skip it. Sure enough somebody stepped on her foot. She was fine and she just jumped back into my legs. It wasn't the persons fault either. You get crammed in there.

I'm finally all caught up with your posts. That guy at Rose N Crown was a total jerk and I'll leave it at that. Edith is such a wonderful K-9 dog and I love seeing how well she reacts to situations at a place like WDW. The newly refurbished rooms at The Boardwalk Inn are so beautiful and I'm a fan of the little Disney touches they've added to the rooms! I agree with you on the whole "Hidden Mickey" thing too. Sorry your wife had to stay behind again for the cats but hopefully she'll be able to join you on the next Disney adventure. Poor Zelda, I hope the skin infection cleared up quickly for her. She looks so pretty with her hair grown in! Totally enjoying your TR.

Wednesday continued

After Frozen it was inky right we visit the Belgium booth since Edith is a Belgian Malinois! Fun fact: Edith was born in The Netherlands. She flew over to me at 11 weeks! She's a foreign chick!

And once again, Edith insisted we ride Remmy )her low-key fav) it was a walk on!

It's currently Saturday. Did I execute "The Big T Extendo" maneuver and extend my trip an extra day? Yes, I did. And the "T" is for @Tuvalu

We left epcot and I grabbed some Food to go at big river brewery and then Stop that Bellevue Lounge to checked it out. It's not a club level lounge just a nice bar off the lobby in boardwalk

Drinks were good, but in my opinion, any place that serves bourbon The bartender should know to ask you for the big ice or regular ice. The lounge itself is very relaxing.

A girl sat down next to me and obviously knew the bartender. He was asking her about her reassignment from working on the galactic star cruise

Of course I asked her a few questions And she shared some wonderful stories and memories from working there.

You never know who is gonna sit down next to you!
