After RoTR we went to Baseline for a refill. As Edith and I were standing in line, a gentleman next to us said "HI Keith" with a big smile on his face. I said hello and was confused since I didn't recognize him so I asked how he knew my name? He introduced himself (I'll refer to him as Mr. G), and said that he reads my trip reports on magic! I asked his username and he said he doesn't have an account but he enjoys reading the trip reports. Of course he mentioned he loves @Tuvalu 's reports as well 😊. There's no competing with "Big T" but I'm happy to be in Mr G's top 3!

After we chatted for a few minutes I asked if he wouldn't mind if I included our meet up in my report and said no problem. And since that was the case, I insisted we get some pictures! If you meet @Tuvalu you may be lucky enough to recieve one of her cards! If you meet me, you may be lucky enough to get a picutre with my dog! Both are pretty cool, IMO.

I did my.best to persuade Mr G to open an account here and participate. He'll be reading this report so Im asking everyone reading this to say hi to Mr G! I know you're reading this Mr G, come join the fun!

It was such a pleasure to meet him and his family. I messaged Big T to let her know I met a fan of hers. She told me to say hello from her if we crossed paths again.

As I was taking pics behind the ship, a CM of the ride came over to "interigate me" for being in an unauthorized area. She was great. She played the role of security guard very well. I was told "I'd be useful to the integrators"

After the ride, The CM watching Edith commented on how calm and well behaved she was. He told me that most of the dogs (fake service dogs) they get start freaking out, whining, barking etc. Smh.

I was glad Edith could give legit dogs a good name! I got a pic of them together.

You certainly had an incredible day at DHS!!! Love the pictures of Edith with the CM's backstage and your TOT experience was so awesome!!!!

Friday continued

After our wonderful meet up with Mr G, Edith and I headed back into Batuu. I wanted a better pic of her with Falcon amd also to see if the shops any good/new merchandise. Fun fact: I puke in my mouth when people say "merch" 🤢

We headed back over towards Sunset and I found a bag that I knew C would love for her Costco trips. She always conveniently "forgets" something so she can go back again lol.

It's one of those thermal lined bags (or whatever you call it) that keeps stuff cool.

Definitely time to head back to the room! We went to the Friendship dock but they were nit running due to lightning. As we left the docks, two ladies asked if they were closed. I said yes. As the got closer, they recognized us! They knew who I was from wdwmagic! What are the odds!! Two random meetuos in less than 2 hours!

It was Carol and Annete! Same as Mr G, they don't have accounts but read the TR's and of course, big fans of @Tuvalu !

They were also staying at boardwalk period and if I forgot to mention, Mr. G was also staying at boardwalk. Quite a serendipitous afternoon.

The rain was very light and I walked with them back to the room. We had a great time discussing disney and life in general. I encourage them to create an account and participate here and hopefully if their reading this theyvwill chime in!

It was such a great start to the day meeting Some wonderful people and also being reminded of how Disney brings us all together in more ways than we could ever expect.
