Someone hopped up in the bed to wake me up this morning. Then proceeded to give me the innocent look as she snuggled up

Did I miss it?? How come C couldn't come this trip? That was really sweet of you to get that charm for her. Have another great Disney day!

She debated and went back and forth a bazillion times to come or stay home. Then the stray cat she's been feeding decided to have kittens a few weeks ago and the momma cat is keeping them on our side yard and C made a small kitty compound for them and she's been monitoring them and its.basically been her life and she didn't want to leave them and momma cat possibly move them if she wasn't there to feed them

Then she woke up last weekend with a fever of nearly 102. I was worried I'd get sick but somehow I didn't. She is still not feeling well. Between the cats and the fever she stayed home. It's always about the cats

In all seriousness, the work you 2 do with animals is amazing!! Kudos to you both. I am a cat person at heart but love all animals ( I worked at a zoo for 2 summers while in college) That kitty compound is adorable. Thank you!!

Day 2 Tuesday continued

A little playtime after our nap

Showered up and ready to go! I sent a text to @amjt660 to show off my new golf shirt

Has anybody ever noticed that @lostpro9het looks like Novak Djokovic ?

We headed out and over to Epcot. A Sam Adam's for the walk

I stopped at Rose and Crown to get a Golden and some.drunk jacka$$ started asking me a bazillion questions about Edith and I knew he was gonna try and pet her so I kept her on my side.

A man approached the bar and I didn't want to block him so I moved Edith behind me and the jackass went for it. I watched as he lowered his hand and as I said no, he lightly brushed her hind leg and she jumped back. She was fine, she just spun around to het away from him. I said dude why did you do that? His girlfriend said "did he pet her"?? As she gave him a little push out of frustration. He immediately started cursing "I didn't f*cking pet that dog, f*uck that dog amd he just kept cursing. It was a whole scene and everybody was looking. The girlfriend was clearly embarrassed and dragged him away as he continued to try and curse his way out of guilt. Buddy was screaming. It was wild.

I got my drink and she came back and apologized. The boyfriend was STILL in the background cursing. He was hammered. Smh

After MMRR Edith enjoyed the cool floor while I had an Octoberfest at Tune In Lounge.

It's a hallway that connects to another door that opens up where the CM that assigns what row you sit in at the end of the queue. Which is where I bring her into the kennel before getting on the ride.

Did we stop at Pandora on the way out?? Of course we did.

I got C the Dumbo charm they just released. Her mom's favorite character was Dumbo and I know she'll love it. She doesn't read my trip reports so don't worry. And Mom (who does read these), don't spill the beans to her!!

We headed back to the room after Pandora.

5 pages in and just realizing Edith doesn't have her full tail. My neighbors have two Malinois and one has the same short tail from having a tumor removed. Wonder if it is the same type of situation for Edith. She sure is beautiful just as she is though!

Her tail was bit by a dog (not one of mine nor one I was working with) when she was 11 weeks old. It was damaged enough that it had to be docked. It hasn't affected her tho

I grabbed a snack at Hawaii.

They’re repainting the entire friendship fleet to this scheme. The navy blue on the hull ruins it for me. Would’ve preferred either white or the blue that’s on the top. Just something to make it pop a bit.

Darn, was kinda hoping she’d just bite him. Good job by Edith of staying calm though! Drunk idiots have really ruined world showcase for me lately. If you can’t handle 11 watered down drinks in a day, you should get your drinking privileges revoked for life.

It never ceases to amaze me how grown adults don't know how to behave in public. Not only multiple trying to pet a service dog, but getting drunk enough that they start arguments in a Disney park. UGH.
My son always points out dogs whenever we go anywhere (he's 5 and obsessed), but even he knows that a) you never pet an animal without permission from both me and the animal's owner, and b) if you see a service animal you never interrupt their job; you can wave and say "hello," but we aren't stopping and/or distracting the animal from doing their job.
If this isn't the appropriate way to handle it though I'm always up for improvement!
