Here is something new! How cool would a water ride vehicle that is suspended from a track hybrid ride be? Think about those possibilities!:D

I don't know about that. A suspended ride that would touch water would put a lot of stress on the ride system due to resistance. Now, if they could somehow release the ride vehicle from the suspended track and have it continue as a water ride, now you're talking. It could be some sort of flight of the pixie and have it fly up and around a mountain, "land" on the water and ride a flume down the mountain. That'd be like 2 rides in one. Take that one step further (my mind is running wild) since they have to get the ride assembly back down the mountain, let the rider decide if they want to ride or fly back down. Or make it random...

I shouldn't get excited about things in my head.

I was thinking that for a portion of the ride it would seem as though you were floating on water but the "boat" could be suspended just above the point where the water creates a force on the ride vehicle. Then it could fly off of the water similar to the way PPF works. This would only require one ride assembly. I like your thinking however.

Could work for all type of storylines.

I think John Lasseter stoped using fastpass in the new rides. I know the new submarine voyage doesn't use fastpass. Does Midway Mania use fastpass? I remember reading that the DCA version does not. Im guessing Little mermaid will not use fastpass either.

Lasseter was also adamant about stop stuffing a gift shop at the end of every single attraction so don't expect a gift shop at the end of the ride either (thankfully!)

Where'd you hear this? :D

Good news, if true!:sohappy: HATE FP on Omni rides, save for Buzz. Then, I only use it to get through the Queue of Doom.

Midway Mania does use fastpass. It already has 80 minutes waits to begin with. I have never seen the issue with fastpass. I am a big believer in puttting it on every attraction that can handle it. What can it hurt anyways? Buzz is an omnimover and it has a fastpass. I am a little worried about the line at AA without fastpass, especially the first couple of years.

As for the gift shops, they never effect me because I walk straight through them.
