Yes
There also is themed food in in slurp, but i don't know if anyone who ever watched the show would actually want to drink it

Are The Simpsons as relevant as once before? No.

That’s simply not true; The Simpsons is consistently one of Disney+’s most popular series

Of course, an entire subdivision within WDI seems to exist to prop up distressed properties under the guise of “relevancy activations,” so maybe they operate under a different understanding of “relevance/relevancy”

I'd prefer Futurama over the Simpsons. The characters, settings and stories lend themselves better to theme park attractions. I feel like the "cult" status of the property is also an advantage. It's the right type of edge for an edgier DHS. Neither is great, but Futurama ticks more boxes, IMHO. Plus, Simpsons has already been done.

Star Wars fit Tomorrowland, Indiana Jones fit Adventureland, and The Twilight Zone can really do anything so they wrote a Hollywood-themed script for it. They all made an effort to fit in.

Starlord going "Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit" doesn't make the ride fit Epcot.

I know they fit in to the lands they are placed in and I agree that Cosmic Rewind really does not fit EPCOT well. A lot of people keep saying Simpsons are very off brand for Disney and I wondered if people thought the same in the past. As for Hollywood Studios being the location for Simpsons (where I think the rumored location of it is?), Disney doesn't seem to care about things being themed to Hollywood any more.

Exactly.
Same thing with Animal Kingdom down the line it will be renamed to Disney's Adventure Kingdom a few years later after they add Encanto and Indy...I think this is where they are going to focus on after Epic Universe has been open for awhile....It's not Like Epcot & DHS have an identity situation what it represents..

I used to hate the idea of The Simpsons in WDW at all, but in my head I've already fully written off DHS so I no longer care what happens there. Another Simpsons area could be cool, especially if they build a ride that doesn't suck.
As little as I personally care about The Simpsons, and as much as I feel like it would be extremely strange to see in a Disney park, if they're going to lean hard into making DHS the "non-Disney IP park", then I can't say I would complain much. If anything just to give DHS some coherent theme back.

Mind you this is the same park where at one point it had Ninja Turtles

If they are going to do that then they should do it all the way, get rid of Belle and the new MMRR along with the yet unopened Little Mermaid show...But I suspect this is not the direction they are moving at all. The Simpsons is just some people making noise... It makes no sense for the park, or any of the Disney parks....and it has already been done by their competition down the road. Why do we keep bringing this up for consideration as if we want it to happen? It is a horrible choice and completely off-brand...

Have to put my foot down about that..definitely not Belle! My Pooh bear (Belle) growls at that idea!

It's not even good at Universal. The aesthetic is just too bland.
Aside from saying, "Hey, I drank a Duff and had a pink donut" What is the draw?

Could "Animation Courtyard" go bigger than just The Simpsons?

Lots of IP with long-standing popularity that can be mined from the adult animation Fox block. Most would also bring synergistic food & beverage options which carry margins that execs love:

Core:
The Simpsons
Family Guy
Bob's Burgers

Extension:
Futurama
King of the Hill
American Dad

I'll be cold, deep in the ground before Family Guy and American Dad touch the parks.

I can see the other four, but those two, no matter how you crack it, feel a step too far.
I could see The Clam getting a presence, alongside a Bob's Burgers/Moe's/etc in an Animation Domination themed QSR section
