Anyone need a cat?

We have had 3 abandoned at our shelter the past week and a half. One on my birthday, and two on my anniversary! LOL Is someone trying to tell me something? Anyhow, the ones from yesterday were in a box with no airholes! YIKES! Pretty stuffy for the middle of summer!

All 3 are extremely sweet though. They had to come from indoors. There's no way these are strays.

So...Any takers?

I could think of some horrificly crude comments here but I'll refrain.

And sorry, I aint a cat person.

I'm a cat-dog-everything-person. If I was allergic to animal dander I wouldn't know what to do with myself!

oh you would do what I do with my 4 cats. take drugs and hope the alergies to them don't get too bad!

alegra is perfect. I haven't had a problem since I started taking it!

We have two cats...one we actually went and got from a shelter, and one we were keeping for someone while they moved. They moved over a year ago and didn't come back and pick up the cat they even had their phone disconnected (yes, I have sucker written across my forehead). Just about 3 weeks ago I hear this pitiful crying and it was a baby kitten someone dumped. I couldn't let it starve so now we have "3" I'm trying to get someone to take the kitten.

I love animals.... I walk by the The Downtown Anti-Cruelty Society( http://www.anticruelty.org/ ) every morning on the way to work...and look at the doggies in the window... :wave:

I would take one but my family already has 4. Weve gotten two abandoned cats, we got our next cat, he was born to a stray cat on the grounds of the Ringling Musuem, and the 4th is a pedigree cat we got for free because my sisters friend owned it but her mom was allergic, so we got him.

When you are like 60 years old...Are you going to be the town "Cat Lady"?
Almost every town has one....you know..Like 30-40cats?

Believe it or not, I have always been a dog person. It was my husband who prefferred cats! But now that I have them, I don't know what I would do without them.

I would have a house full of animals if I could, but they are sooo expensive to keep, AND, not that he would *forbid* me to do anything but I don't think John would be very happy with so many pets! :lol:

Maybe I can be FRIENDS with the cat lady, but I probably will never actually BE her

NO!...lol my Uncle was the cat man....on the Northwest Side(Wriglyville)....a long time ago...but now he only has like 6 or 7 cats...and loves then to death.
