I went to MK and EPCOT today. Broken clouds, cool breeze, 88 degrees. And the parks were empty!! 10 minute wait for Mission Space, Test Track, and no lines to most of MK. It was great!

Yeah, we always get those lovebugs in Sept. They're actually kind of funny if you look at them... one poor bug always has to walk backwards... ha ha ha)

Sorry - I meant we got them when we were at WDW in Sept. We in lovely Southern California don't get them... sorry. :D

And yes, I've learned my lesson about the Florida (or more specific, Bahamian) sun. Although I hate it, I usually up my sunscreen levels by many many numbers when I'm in FL/Caribbean. Hee hee. :D

They either had two "minors" or a big "major":eek: as the upstairs restrooms and in fact the whole upstairs was closed during my May trip.:(

After they closed the Catwalk Bar:( those restrooms got little use as most people didn't know about them.

Can't sleep. finally am starting to have time to make new purchases....Bought new boardshorts and they are white with some blue....what was I thinking......Don't want to give the kiddies a free show. My cousin came up with a 19 page Phd disertation on our trip and emailed it to everyone who is going with us, 13 total. It is quite useful.......gearing up for the vaca by drinking a few beers every night to build up my tolerance.....hope everyone has a great time....

Ughhhh....Just 1 1/2 hours left at work before I am officially on vacation, and 1 1/2 days 'til we will be at WDW! The minutes are dragging by like hours, and I'm going stir crazy!!!

3 DAYS TO GO! :sohappy:

I was actually doing fine until this afternoon when DCL called and told us that they've upgraded our cabin on the Wonder by 2 categories! :D Previously I was so stressed about packing, getting our house ready for our house/dog/cat sitter, and getting things wrapped up here at work that I guess I just didn't allow myself to be EXCITED!!!!
Not too happy about the rain but it's to be expected this time of year and we won't let it ruin our trip.

I had a nasty nightmare last night about missing my flight because I overslept and I couldn't find any clothes to pack!

I just couldn't take it so I took Friday off :animwink: Of course, I can do this as I wound up having to work most of Monday.:brick:

We're going to see Pirates of the Carribean on Friday to "get in the mood";) Then off to the airoport and up up and away on Sat Morn.

So, I made it through my last day at work, only to come home and see the possibility of another tropical depression in the Gulf!!:( Again the weather will be what it will be, but now I'm worried about flying into Orlando.

We do not fly very much, and am wondering how much this will affect flights into MCO? Does it take alot for flights to be delayed/cancelled, (God forbid)? Or is this something that the airport is well prepared for?

Yes, now I'm getting nervous. I don't really care if it rains for days, but we need to at least get there!!!!:(
