Any word on the new MM&Y replacement?

Just wondering if any of our many insideres have any info as to when the new projection show will start. I believe the time frame mentioned before was pretty vague and kind of coinsided with the new Fantasyland opening, but it seems like all of this stuff has been a moving target lately.

Not against the new show but we could always hope TDO decided to cut Celebrate The Magic and green light "Dreams" for the MK!

A few months back it was stated by some of the insiders here that an even bigger and better show using parts of Dreams tech was pitched. But it was rejected by the powers that be due to budget reasons. I wonder if this has changed (or will change) in the somewhat near future now that Disney is beginning to become terrified of Universal and considering expansion plans.

Very strange how we have not heard anything further in regards to Celebrate The Magic.. It is almost November!

Wishes has run it's course. It's a decent nighttime show, but it's just fireworks. It's time for a new one, especially like the one in Paris...
Dreams works perfectly for Paris with its infrastructure and pyro rules.

But imagine a show in the MK in Orlando with no high level and few low level fireworks?

A classic fireworks show is exactly what people expect from Magic Kingdom. I'm not a HUGE Wishes fan, but for now it's fine, and a better option than any other night show (Except, maybe Remember)

CTM has done some nighttime testing along with the Christmas lights, it still on course.

What is to stop them from mixing both, besides time constraints and money issues..

Has anyone seen CTM or heard from CMs about CTM? What's the music like? Is there pyro at the end? I'm gussing it will not have a christmas tag this year right?

Yep. But someone new will be in there soon. And shows just like this have been proposed. Davidson even had working show ideas and rough scripts.

If only one of these new projects he said will be announced soon would be a new show! But that would be waay to much to ask for, a new daytime parade AND a new firework show!

And honestly I do not care if they do away with a lot of fireworks. Time for something new for a change! Fountains, lighting, lasers, etc would be amazing!

Disagree completely. There is something amazing about fireworks. They are awe inspiring. Lasers and fountains - no matter how technologically impressive can never have the same emotional impact on an audience.

I can't help but stop and watch fireworks - I was tired of MM&Y after a few viewings.
