Wonder if this has anything to do with removing Glibert Godfrieds voice over due to his unpleasent tweets this past weekend.

If by unpleasant you mean hysterical. :D

But anywho.... if they ever do change this, it will have nothing to do with Gilbert. Ellen's Energy Adventure still runs despite Michael Richard's comments. Captain EO ran until 1997 in Disneyland despite the accusations against Michael. Closing because of Gilbert is not something Disney tends to do.

I think its lame that he said it - and lame that people are upset about it. Just my opinion...

REALLY not trying to flame here or get off topic, but...

You think it's lame that people are upset that he openly mocked one of the worst and certainly one of the most horrific natural disasters in history?

At least 4,000 people are dead (more likely to be in the tens of thousands by the end).
Over 30,000 people are missing.
Millions are without homes.
The majority of the people with homes don't have power, in flooded freezing temperatures and snow.

The country is still having dozens of aftershock quakes a day, most above a 6 on the scale. In fact, Tokyo had an 6.2 quake just today.

Not to mention the crisis involving Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, which is leaking radiation and has had several explosions and fires and will probably end in absolute nuclear disaster.

But to you, it's lame to be upset that this disgusting man is mocking all of that?

Really? Really??

This is getting nasty. Anywho in before the lock. I am glad to see that the Tiki room MAY be changing back to a version of its former self.

I have heard from someone at the Discussion Kingdom forums that the Uh-Oha AA was ruined by all the water coming down from the ceiling, so that may also prompt a possible change back to the original.

Even though I thought Under New Management was kind of stale, I thought the Tiki Goddess (who I assume is "Uh-Oha") was a cool animatronic. I liked how creepy she was; her glowing red eyes!

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
Perhaps Disney can fix the part of the beginning when Jose says "Buenos dias, Seniorita!"

Because men help with the tiki room too now :ROFLOL:

Jose does not say that in the Under New Management version, he goes right to "Aaaaaaa, my siestas are getting shorter and shorter"

He also (publicly) made a 9-11 joke in New York City about 2 weeks after 9-11. The dust hadn't even settled and he was making jokes.

The robot is cool, I hate that she is an uber rasta B!+c# though. If she were a more mellow character that is in the spirit of the original show. Have her be a comforting motherly spirit and it could be magical.

Well over in DL when they have a male CM running it they usually say something like "I hope he doesn't call me Senorita this time" and I know that Maynard covers for it by saying "Whenever I wake Jose up, he calls me silly names!"

I know this is like the most un-PC thing said in the history of the world and will make me a complete heretic, but is there a reason why they don't just staff the Tiki Room with female cast members?

I would quite like to see Stitch added to the tiki rooms like the one in Tokyo but then we love Stitch in our house :)
