Well, I gotta use whatever time I have left in this thread before you guys start talking about "Half Blood". I think it'll only come out down here towards Christmas.

Anyways, here are some pics of the new game, "Goblet". Note that they used a pic from the movie for the cover for the first time, so it's kind of another glimpse. Also it seems on this new game we'll get some multiplayer action. You can play as Harry, Ron or Mione, or with the three together. Should be more interesting than the previous games.

Wow, those graphics are the best of any HP game yet, it seems! Very nice, indeed! Thanks for sharing! :D Makes me kind of excited for the movie (though, I'm worried about John Williams not doing the score this time...changing composers, even after just one movie, usually isn't a good thing. Guess we'll have to wait and see....can't wait to see more Sirius, though!!) :sohappy:

Well, no that's not exactly how I pictured him. I did think his eye would be less cyborg-y...and I thought he would have white hair as well...but otherwise, he doesn't look too bad. (Wish I could read portuguese though...it would be nice to know what they were saying in the article...:)

I think the look of Filtch is more what I had in mind for Moody.

Same here.

Not much, really. The paragraph before the photos pretty much tells the reader what he's about to see, and the one afterwards is the movie's synopsy (sp?).

Just curious. Is there a thread about the HBP yet? I couldn't find any.

I think there are 2 of those, but I'm not sure. I'm steering clear of them since the book is only coming out in November down here.

Can I just say...I do not like the longer hair on all the characters for this movie...I mean every guy has it...Harry, Ron, Neville...etc...it looks really bad.
I have to say I totally agree. A little long, a little gy looks good, but this is just a little to much. The twins look like Dorothy Hamil (sp?) gone awry. I look at Ron and I want to push my own hair out of my eyes. Harry does not look to bad, his hair is supposed to be sort of long and messy.
Miss Granger's hair, which is supposed to be so bushy and hard to control, looks fabulous, btw. I would give anything for those waves.

Agreed. Especially since Mrs. Weasley makes such a fuss about Bill's hair being to long. Harry's is alright, but the rest, NO!!!!

Also, what happened to the dress code at Hogwarts??? No one seems able to keep their shirt buttoned or tie tied. What's the point of wearing uniform if you do it sloppily. What are they trying to do, teach kids to dress like bums?

And, all of sudden, after CoS, Dumbledore grows younger. He goes from snowy white hair to a dingy gray. I know Richard Harris passed away, but they could've kept Dumbledore's look the same. Now he looks like a dirty hippy.

Yeah, I don't like it how, with Prisoner, they kinda ignored that they're supposed to wear only the uniforms at school. Those guys need to read the books, or maybe JK is not really foccusing on the movies.

I wouldn't mind them wearing regular clothes if they would wear their uniforms properly.

Yup. JK makes it such a big deal in the books, about wearing 'muggle' cloths and how funny some of the witches and wizards look when trying to look like muggles. The kids in the current movies wear 'muggle' cloths about 80% of the time. And they do it well. I don't see them wearing scuba gear, or shower caps while out, like they do in the books.
I think the director in the 3rd movie was trying to give the kids a younger, hipper look. However, that tends to come away from the books.
That beening said, I still can not wait for the next movie to come out. It looks really good.

Yeah. As much as I adore the movies, I would love more uniform wearing, better hair(Rupert's and Dan's were the hottness in the 3rd movie!), and the silvery-white hair Dumbeldore needs.

But I think Mad-Eye's gonna be somewhat accurate....maybe...well weight-wise anyway...look at him in the book.

I mean, who get's all that "skinny man" stuff? It doesn't say anything like that in his book description.

Awesome updates! Well, I wasn't too sure about who they cast for Mad-Eye...but it works! The only problem is the eye...in no picture of Moody has he ever had a...whatever that is...strapped to his head. Where the heck did that come from? And, isn't it supposed to be the right eye that's "mad" and not the left? *sigh* when will these directors start paying attention to details?

Anyway, I'm happy with the casting of Cho...she looks perfect!

As for Fleur....not exactly like I pictured her...I imagined her with longer hair...and more bleach-blonde hair. She doesn't look very Veela-ish, if you ask me. But, meh, what do I know?

As for them not wearing their uniforms more during school, that annoys me SO much! That's another case of paying attention to details, which the last director failed miserably at. I'm afraid he's started a trend of "hip HP" which is steering away from canon HP. I realize that book to movie translation can be difficult and that not everything in the books can make it to film, but it's just getting kind of ridiculous now.
I also agree with you all about the hair...Harry's is ok, but not everyone else's. Another detail thing....do the directors realize that these books are set in the 90's? So the gy look wasn't really in style at the time...not like it is now, anyway. So annoying.
