Any Epcot purists cave into Cosmic Rewind yet?

I really like Guardians as a ride but the theming and story are mediocre at best.

As far as coasters go in Florida, I greatly prefer Velocicoaster, Hagrid's and Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa. I would 100% ride any of those 3 over Guardians any day of the week.

Reading comments like these, makes me think people's preference is more about ride type than anything else. Some people prefer faster rides (like Guardians) and other people prefer slow rides (like SSE), and I get the impression there's very few people that actually like both.
I enjoy both. I could only ride Guardians, Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth and call that a successful day at Epcot.

If you're talking about something like IncrediCoaster or Slinky Dog Dash, then you have a point. Cosmic Rewind is on a different planet (pun intended) technologically compared to what you'd find anywhere else.
Technologically I agree you won't find it anywhere else. As far as the spinning coaster goes it's nowhere near as good as Time Traveler at Silver Dollar City. It has multiple launches, multiple inversions and 90 degree drop of 100 ft.

I rode it, HATED IT, made me so darn dizzy I had to sit down a few minutes to get my head straight afterwards

Just because they're both coasters doesn't mean they're all that comparable. Time Traveler is an outdoor ride with no theming or story beyond the station.
