So, to clarify (I'm sorry to be pedantic, but I can't verify this info on any official site)...

APers get 10% at some table service places and 20% at others. Would DVC members get discounts at all of them but only 10%?

APers get 20% off at select quick service locations. DVC members do not get any discount at these, correct?
This should help.

As DVC members, we receive 10% at every Disney operated table service restaurant. So that would not include places like Yak&Yeti, or Rainforest Cafe among others. You would still need the TiW for those.

Correct. DVC members get no discount at any QS places.

This just confused me.. So do AP holders get discounts at all of those?

No. No one gets discounts at non-Disney owned stores. Only at the stores owned and operated by Disney. As part of this plan, anyways.
I'm trying to figure out if I should cancel the DDP now. Will a complete list of restaurants and discounts be released?

You ironically picked restaurants actually -- both Yak & Yeti and Rainforest Cafe are not covered by TiW, but do have 10% discounts for DVC members (this has been an established perk, not part of the 45th anniversary promotion).

That said, I understand what you are saying that the new additional discounts (10% for DVC members) are only for Disney owned table service restaurants, so my last question is: is there a good list of which places are operated by Disney? Would it fair to take the list of new table service places that the APers are getting 20% for the 45th anniversary and consider all of them to be offering a 10% discount for DVC members?

Correct. DVC members get no discount at any QS places.

That's what I thought, thank you.

Same here. I purchased the DDP for my upcoming trip. We have never used the dining plan before and were looking forward to trying it out. However, if it would be cheaper using the AP discount... hmmmm.

Yes, I believe that the already established discounts are still there for Yak&Yeti, Rainforest, etc. There are also shopping places that give us 10% that are not Disney owned, and I would think those would still be good as well. I see no mention of those going away.

That said, I understand what you are saying that the new additional discounts (10% for DVC members) are only for Disney owned table service restaurants, so my last question is: is there a good list of which places are operated by Disney? I haven't seen a comprehensive list of just Disney owned/operated places. And yes, I would say it was a fair assumption that the places giving the 20% to AP'ers would be the same for the 10% for DVC members.

And you're quite welcome! Being DVC members, AP holders, and TiW card holders as well, we will be asking everywhere we go which one to use. Since the new 20% AP discount does not include alcohol, we'll be using the TiW at most places anyway.

Hrm, interesting! I inquired with the CM at Cosmic Rays on Saturday just in case they would honor the discount even though it wasn't on the list and she just kinda rolled her eyes at me and said they "don't do that here."
