I wonder why Alice was never considered for the UK. Seems like a no brainer and it would def sell more merch than Poppins (sorry, Mary!)
She already has merchandise and the Tea Caddy. Honestly, no World Showcase attraction needs its own retail space because there's already tons of it. You can find Poppins, Sword in the Stone, Pooh, Alice, Robin Hood, et al in the existing stores.

Alice is kind of hard because you can't throw London or UK with it unless if were any, a particular quote but aside a cup of tea that's about it for it to reference in nod with or to United Kingdom.

I feel like modern Disney plays fast and loose with that kind of stuff I mean Frozen never mentions Norway right? Arendelle is just inspired by Norway/Norwegian culture

From memory: The architecture of the buildings (particularly the castle), Trolls are found in a lot of Norse Mythology, the Runes are based on Scandinavian Runes, Anna and Elsa's parents graves
Fair enough. I didn’t pay enough attention - the only time I watched it was when we took all of grades 1-3 to a sing-along version !

Mary feels like the perfect fit for the UK pavilion...It references London, the English countryside...She is the perfect Disney IP to be Ambassador for the Pavilion.
Remy perfectly fits the France Pavilion....
Still not sure about Italy as Pinicchio, while Italian, doesn't really feel Italian... Snow White doesn't really feel culturally German either....
Mulan could work in China... Coco in Mexico is an absolutely perfect match...
They need something for Japan, Canada, Morocco...
I just hope they stay away from the classic Princesses... Keep that in Fantasyland....

You could have Luca in Italy, for a Vespa ride around the country. Brother Bear for Canada?

Luca for Italy, Big Hero 6 for Japan because American pavilion is right next to it. Aladdin for Morocco obviously, Canada only see Brother Bear. Tangled for Germany better than Snow White, the meet and greet for Snow White is fitting there though! France was and is still Aurora and Belle even with Remy perfectly in!

Right about Aladdin.... And Brother Bear doesn't really feel Canadian....and has not tie-in to Canadian Culture... They should at least choose an IP that has some appropriate culture...
If Luca had been more popular, I could see that...
Big Hero 6 while a fun sort of film wuld also not really culturally fit since it again takes place in a fictionalized hybrid of Japan and San Francisco.... I am surprised with a theme park presence in Tokyo, that they have not actually done an animated film taking place in Japan... Something that feels very culturally Japanese....

UK Pavilion (which is basically a pub and a gift shop), and also Germany...(a restaurant and a gift shop)... That would pull crowds around the whole circle a little better.... There is no reason they should not have developed an attraction for every Pavilion years ago...

They originally had plans for every Pavilion to have attractions. Germany was to have a boat ride, and Japan a dark ride.

Aladdin was either set in “Arabia” (from the original story) or India (from the architecture of the movie).

Neither of which are in Africa. But hey, this is Disney. Who cares about stuff like that? Cultural appropriation? Have at it. 🙄🤦‍♀️😡
Just like someone pointed out for Tropical America's that UP would fit better than Encanto and Encanto should be in Epcot. Perhaps former Disney would of done that.

That's True! Funny enough Jasmine looks more India than Aladdin. Aladdin to me is more Arabia I suppose, Aladdin is one special good lookin guy!
