The place peaked in 99/2000…there’s really no way to argue that…TBH, the Walt Disney Company set that bar long ago... We are now just noticing that the shuttered attractions with no replacement, the dumbing down of theme across properties, the lack of upkeep and repair on major attractions, the lack of desire to actually complete their projects as hyped without value-engineering them, all the while raising prices... It gets to a tipping point eventually.
But the disrepair has been accelerating. The changes in management over time is huge. They use to not even think of such a sad state…so it never happened. Now it’s thrown out and tracked for acceptance on a “red line” spreadsheet.
