A carousel is fine but a dark ride would be better. Cruella’s Wild Ride anyone? Alice or Brave would also be good.
Yeah... who couldn't love big hairy guys in skirts, screeching music from inflatable dead cats, and a dinner entree consisting of stuffed entrails...The best/most beautiful part of the UK, no?
I would think parents who mistakenly took their small children to Epcot.

Walt Disney was fond of the idea. And judging by the lines at other parks, so do many others. Even if you don't ride it adds atmosphere.

But Poppins has nothing to do with the rest of the U.K. either. And actually, nor does anything else in the pavilion. It is called the U.K. pavilion, but it might as well officially be called England. Which is of course what most people call it, albeit incorrectly.
And to add, following your logic, what we need is an IP set somewhere near Manchester, to be in the heart of the U.K. Robin Hood would do, near enough.
Or they could just show Martin’s videos on a continuous loop.
Cherry Tree Lane fits in far better in that back area than Brave ever could, IMO, despite Brave possibly being more culturally relevant, although I doubt they'd really touch upon that unless it's a movie (we'd probably get a shooter ride -- not a hint or rumor, just my guess -- but guests eat those up so ...). Unless we got a mini pavilion-esque area, which doesn't seem likely or possible.
If there is a place serving alcohol beside it, I agree a lot of parents who brought small kids may like to have their kids on it and ride it a couple of times, while mommy and daddy take turns sitting on a bench and drinking some "mommy/daddy soda".
