My rough approximation as done on my phone:
, but with a little more push toward the sky liner and a little less in other areas.
Skyliner is the box, poppins attraction would land in the black circle, correct? My rough approximation as done on my phone:View attachment 269148, but with a little more push toward the sky liner and a little less in other areas.
Would you say on the scale of say Alice in DL?Sorry if a C is a letdown. I did say a charming dark ride, no?
Personally, I’m fine by it. Not everything can be a quarter billion dollar E.

Take your pick of Fantasyland dark ride. Although not Mermaid if you consider it one. No E-ticket queue for this project!Would you say on the scale of say Alice in DL?
Absolutely agreed, I think a charming dark ride would work perfectly. MarieDefinitely not a let down. I feel that a C ticket dark ride is the best medium of attraction for Poppins. It fits the sensibility. Anything much larger would feel a bit overblown, imho. This has me extraordinarily excited. It definitely “belongs” in MK, but I’ll take it.
So we are looking at a 3/4 minute dark ride?Take your pick of Fantasyland dark ride. Although not Mermaid if you consider it one. No E-ticket queue for this project!
Do you think they can get Meryl Streep to even agree to just 3-4 min? No time for Lin-Manuel or whomever is in the supporting role of Mary Poppins in the next movie. So we are looking at a 3/4 minute dark ride?
A C wouldn't be too bad, so long as they were clever about they do it. I just worry it will go more down the TLM or Pooh route where you end up going past brightly lit, barely moving plastic elements, with some cool things thrown in here and there. Particularly as this ride features mainly human characters, I hope they come up with something a little better than what we've been used to.Sorry if a C is a letdown. Aren’t they the same?So will this be classic Poppins or sequel Poppins?
That's how I feel toward the film. I LOVE Mary Poppins. One of my favorites. If Meryl Streep steals Emily Blunt's spotlight, I'll be really sad. I actually think Emily can pull off such an iconic role if she gets enough screentime. No Streep please.
Not to mention figures from Great Movie Ride you can repurpose.I just don't seem them going the Mary Poppins Returns route. Why go for that when you have the Sherman Brothers songs of the original, the iconic design and look of Mary, and the fact that is is arguably Disney's most successful/famous live action film ever?
