Would anyone else rather meet Mulan in the next country over, rather than wait in line for Anna and Elsa?
Those fanboys are my family I'd get forced in that line any day.Imagine this...the wait for Darth Vader at DHS or anywhere else on property...the fanboys would cue up for HOURS! Days if you'd let them.
So darn true! I could have been first in line if I knew where Oogie Boogie would be, darn it. I even have a picture of my self standing in front of the empty M&G. If only they could do that event again, but have it more organized... Everyone's wishes. At least when you wait 3 to 4 hours for them you actually know who you are meeting. Unlike at Unleash the Villains it was mass chaos and you had no idea who you were meeting.
If you plan accordingly there are ways to avoid waiting in that long of a line or using FP. I would get there early.
On the bright side, if Elsa and Anna's popularity continues, maybe TDO will consider expanding New Fantasyland even further, and give us a "Frozen" area. (Right AFTER they give us a Villains area, dammit. And Cherry Tree Lane!)
Haha...pun intended?!?!Those fanboys are my family I'd get forced in that line any day.
I think lines would be even longer if Olaf was part of it. It shows how bad Disney is at preparing these things-they thought they'd be out of Norway by now, but its turned into the longest wait in the park. I bet it's shocked them how well this has done-and helps to recoup the costs of MyMagic+
What Disney should do is create a Elsa and Anna character dining experience. Serve snow cones, ice cream, and carrot sticks and get $30 a person for it.
We did the first week on Nov. My kids hadn't seen the movie yet. We went to get in line and were told hour and 30 minutes by the CM. Now I'm kinda wishing we would have waited. But we decided to go see Mulan instead - 20 minute wait. She was lovely and my DD had a great time chatting with her.Would anyone else rather meet Mulan in the next country over, rather than wait in line for Anna and Elsa?
Not that it needs much help, but with switching Anna and Elsa to the MK, wouldn't adding them to the princess meal at Akershus be in the cards? I think that tends to be the "easy" princess meal to get compared to the Castle, but a guaranteed opportunity to meet the Frozen girls would probably terribly increase demand there and would not clog up Norway (well any worse than it already is) the way the current M&G does.
