Animals you would like added to AK?

I shall go with the most obvious choice .....the giant panda. I would also love to see an arctic exhibit.

I was thinking along the lines of real animals. If we were to go with the Beasley Kingdom angle dragons would be the obvious choice but I would prefer to see gargoyles.

Well, maybe with the new park in China, Disney can convince the Chinese Government to give them two pandas.

At this point I would take anything I could get from BK. :lol:
I wish AK had more bugs. I know some people are disgusted by them, but it would be interesting.

I agree with Yoda; a giant panda would go miles for helping AK to receive major respect with those in the zoological community.
I also agree with those who suggested bugs. AK has so many large-scale animals, it would be cool if they rounded out the menagerie with some animals on the other end of the size scale.
I also think a butterfly house would be great! I've been to a few enclosed botanical gardens that have butterflies flying around them, and if you wear the right color clothing (I usually try to wear yellow), butterflies will often perch on you. It's such a simple experience, but one that's so intuitively appealing, or even magical. I think that's an experience that Disney could introduce relatively cheaply, but one that would have huge guest appeal.

I have to confess I really don't care to much about the animals. As a zoo DAK is quite small considering the number of shown species. I admit that I am little biased because I come from Berlin and we have two zoos. One is the "Zoologischer Garten" with the largest number of different species in the world and the other the Tierpark (Animals Park), the largest zoo in Europe considering the area. But even the latter has far more species than DAK. I go to DAK for the theming and the attractions and that is exactly what they desperately need to add to DAK. Kali River Rapids are far too short, Dinosaur is (at least to me) quite disappointing as WDW-clone of the DL-Indiana Jones Adventure, EE is terrific but not enough and Kilimanjaro Safari was kind of nice but not soo special and btw where is the Kilimanjaro? My girlfriend and I call it only "Kilimanjaro Safari without Kilimanjaro"
I believe that DAK is begging for more rides or do you believe a few new animals would really draw as much attention. Of course a real living dinosaur would be an exception.
