I always read about this and want to do it, but when i get there i am always overwhelmed with the other attractions and my family and never find time to do it. Next time I go, I am definitely going to find the path.

Hey, Hey, I had to bring this thread back, because I'm leaving for Disney World on Thursday, and I plan on getting some new pictures of the path. I'll be home the 24th, and post them on the 25th. I wonder if anything has changed, in, or, around the secret path. See ya the 25th with some new pics :wave:

I also have heard about this path but never seen pictures, and didn't know where to find it. Thanks for posting - I enjoyed everyone's pictures. I'm going to try to find the path next may!

I wandered back there in April. Still a nice spot.

I'm back, and I got some more pics of the trail. Enjoy
The chair is gone, I went there twice, and no sign of the chair.
It's growing over
a lot of the path is covered with bamboo
the best way to get in is with the path on your left as your headed toward Asia from Africa
It's kinda behind the smoking section
I have more pics of the AK path in my photo album. I'm also gonna update the album tomorrow, with some pics of the Swiss Family Tree House rehab, and some area near Frontierland fires is also being worked on (a small area, looks like something for strollers or something) :wave:

Funny thing is that Pal Mickey still says this when you approach the smoking section (and I paraphrase) : "Hey pal, I heard from the island locals that there's a secret path around here somewhere! Look high and low and maybe we can find it! Let's go!" I think that if you find it or go in it's general direction (I never tried it, just went around it) he says "Wow! Looks like you found it!". Then I think he explains some animals...? I'm not even sure if there are animals there!

We found the secret path for the first time this past May! I just wish it was a little longer.
