Trip Report "And The Award For The Most Dramatic Goes To....."

Hi Friends!! Here I go again....with the sincere intent of not taking anywhere near as long as I did with the last one. To help with that I was going through my pics & seeing what I could eliminate & what really wouldn't be important to this. The sad thing is I took really good notes for this trip but in the interest of this TR not taking me 6 months to finish I may cut back a little on photos or commentary. Alright, enough said. Let me get moving with this!!

WHO:
Yes, it's going to be one of my more confusing TR's b/c there were 9 of us!! Sorry, I know I did that to you a few years back too!! The good news is you have met all of us except 1 before so hopefully it will be a bit easier this time around!!

There's my sister C & her husband, D. Their daughters are A(birthday button) & E(to my left). I assume you all remember R? And of course, you know E & J!! One of our nephews, JC(in the red) wanted to join us on the trip. We had the room so his mom(my sister) told him she would buy his airfare for his birthday but he was on his own for park tickets and spending money. He agreed & was added on to the trip!!

WHEN:
Tuesday, July 13th-Tuesday, July 20th for E, J, R, JC & myself
D, C, E, & A got there a week before us & stayed off property at their timeshare. They met us on the 13th & returned home on the 20th with us.

REASON FOR THE TITLE:
You'll see......

I dropped everyone off & parked the car. We met up at Penn Brewery for lunch.

R had gone to Hudson News for something & was irritated that they had to give him his change back in all nickels. They blamed it on the coin shortage.

I got grilled cheese with sauerkraut as my side. JC got grilled cheese but he added bacon to it. He said it was excellent!!

J got pretzel sticks & E got a salad. Not sure what R got & I didn't take a picture.

We all(the adults, that is) had some beers!!

JC(since his flight was booked later than ours) was on his own reservation. He lucked out by getting an A boarding group!!

R went with E & J for family boarding.

While I had to wait for B42.

THURSDAY, JULY 15TH

On our way to meet the rest of the family the kids wanted to stop to get a drink.

MMRR was up next!!

Then it was time for dinner!!

While waiting to be seated we ran into the Genie. C & I were the only ones who would get our picture with him!

We were seated at 2 tables.

As you can see E & J got their usuals!!

R was falling asleep at the table.

THURSDAY, JULY 15TH

R gets the meatloaf every time & that day was no exception!

Guess who's??

R was a member of the clean plate club for sure!!

And still had room for dessert!!

We saw Goofy attempting to fish.

Time for a ride on Slinky Dog!

A was all smiles!!

For whatever reason E, D & C's pic never turned up!

THURSDAY, JULY 15TH

It was finally time for our boarding group!!

The CM's were really into character this day.

On a side note at one point in the ride I thought that I was seeing myself in a mirror. I hadn't remembered there being a mirror so I was really puzzled. As it turns out I was looking at my sister, C & thought it was me!! The crazier thing is that she thought the same thing!! Scary!!

I rode with E on TSM.

Everyone decided to leave except E(niece), JC, D & myself. We wanted to do single rider on RNRC. The single rider line was so long though that they cut it off. E & D ended up on ToT.

While JC got a donut.

After that we headed back to the treehouse!!

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

I was up early for my walk & decided to go over to Old Key West. We had reservations a few days later at Olivia's & I wanted to see where we needed to go.

I really do enjoy that resort!!

Ok, I figured out the way!

After that I headed back.

It really is a nice walk between the 2 resorts.

When I got back some of the crew was getting ready to go to the pool.

We ended up going to the pool at The Grandstand.

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

We hung out at the pool for a few hours.

For whatever reason, J loves the hot tub!!

On our way back we met up with everyone else at Chip N' Dale's for lunch. The food is great there & the prices are really reasonable!!

R got a hot dog. The hot dog, like all the meats there are Boar's Head.

My sandwich.

On the way back to the room A asked me if that was my car b/c it looks just like it. Considering I flew down I told her the answer was definitely no!!

I had to laugh when I saw this!!

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

We decided to get the bus at the main stop but I have no clue why. Not like we weren't walking enough around that resort!!

While waiting for the bus A, R & J were checking out the turtles.

And somehow, A ended up getting her leg stuck in the fence!!

Instead of trying to help I continue to take pictures......

I'm so glad I did b/c it was hysterical!!

Poor A!! But, we all had a good laugh at her expense!!

Then she really got upset b/c as you can see her mother & sister were laughing at her. And they weren't the only ones!! There were a few woman on the other side of the bus stop that witnessed the whole thing & were laughing also. So she was upset about that too!!

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

We were waiting on a bus to Epcot & the time kept getting pushed back later & later.

We decided to take a HS bus instead then take the Skyliner over.

Someone made sure to get in their exercise for the day!!

A had stopped crying by then!!

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

Especially with going through the International Gateway who didn't think this would be our first stop?

This was back when you could still enjoy your beverages inside.

And, of course we had to do the traditional family photo!!

J thought he was funny for sneaking in on it!!

A & J wanted to ride a few things so R & I took them to do that.

R loves the filet so we stopped to get him one.

A cavalcade came by while he was eating.

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

The kids wanted to get a donut so I told them they could share one.

This is what they chose.

And this is what they got!! Yes, it is the Lemon-Blueberry Donut but it was so hot out that it was melting that quick!!

Soarin' was only a 20 minute wait so we hopped in line for that first.

Did you happen to notice that we played musical chairs?? They asked how old J & A were. They said they were too young to sit side by side on the end so they had J & I switch places.

LWTL was a walk on so we did that next.

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

We paid Nemo a visit next.

Then the manatees.

After that there was one more thing they wanted to do.

Test Track it was!!

Then we made our way back to WS to meet up for dinner.

Teppan Edo it was!!

When in Japan......

Our chef was awesome!!

A got a hat b/c of her birthday!

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

Some of the group wanted to get dessert in France so we headed there next.

I ended up getting this.

E sent me to this cart in Italy to get a limoncello b/c she said it was really good. Unfortunately, it was closed.

I got a wine instead.

We caught some of the Epic! Live show.

They were pretty good!!

J got a funnel cake.

And with that we made our way out of WS.

FRIDAY, JULY 16TH

We decided to hop on SSE on the way out.

We stopped to get a few photos before we left.

The PPP told us to do a silly picture.

There was a bus pulling in as we got there.

We hung out on the deck for awhile listening to music that evening. Even though it was fun it probably wasn't a good idea. We all got eaten up pretty good by some kind of bug. It was super annoying!!

SATURDAY, JULY 17TH

I had stayed up a little later than I should have the night before so I went to AK about an hour later than everyone else, minus R & D. They were up really late & neither felt like going there!!

I met up with everyone when they got off of Dinosaur.

For some reason E's pic is the only one that showed up.

Lunch was at Satu'li Canteen.

We all enjoyed our food.

A ate all hers & was still hungry. She asked if she could have a piece of my shrimp. I gave her one then she decided she didn't want to try it. She was not happy.

Her mom made her eat it. You take it, you eat it!!

We tried to see FotLK but it was full so we had to pass on that.

SATURDAY, JULY 17TH

We headed to the safari since we couldn't see the show.

Saw a few friends on our way out!!

And with that we were done with AK for this trip--or so I thought!!

We got back & everyone was pretty much just hanging out at the treehouse. I wanted to go to the pool so I went to the quiet pool in the treehouse section.

There were only a few other people there so it was pretty quiet.

Remember how I mentioned about getting bit by some kind of bug? I had bite marks everywhere. This picture doesn't even do it justice. They were awful & itched like crazy. It took a good 3 weeks for them to go away!!

Everyone was content with just hanging out at the resort. They were going to get dinner at The Turf Club Lounge. Everyone, except R that is. He decided he did want to go to AK after all. When JC heard that he said he wanted to go also so the 3 of headed to AK. R was bummed that we didn't have a dinner reservation for that evening so I looked on the app while waiting for the bus that took forever to get there!!

SATURDAY, JULY 17TH

It took so long for a bus to come that we knew we wouldn't have much time to spend at AK.

I'm back!!

Dinosaur was a walk on so we went there.

And with that we were out of there!!

We took the bus to the Beach Club.

Our pic showed up while we were in line.

I was excited to eat at Cape May b/c I had never tried it before!!

They were looking at the menu.

The salad came out to start. It was very good & refreshing!!

SATURDAY, JULY 17TH

The cornbread was excellent & so were the spreads that accompanied them!!

Now I thought this was a bit odd. One piece of corn & there were 3 people??

The mac & cheese was great!!

This skillet was also!!

We added on the lobster to our meal.

Right before our desserts was when things got really weird. The waitress starting rushing us along. She took R's napkin off the table & he had to ask her for another one. JC was still eating the mac & cheese and she took that away also!! Then she brought 2 packages of hand wipes--when again, there were 3 of us. Overall, I would go back there but there was something definitely off with her!!

We took an Uber back to Saratoga & he dropped us off at our treehouse which was nice. What wasn't nice was the "tips" he was giving us. Like, make sure we download MDE on our phones
