Congratulations for the kids Fishy!

Dot, you make my day every time I see a fb message from you. Did you get the link to the blog I tagged you in?

Joel and Abby are getting so big! I love them!

Nicole, I couldn't be happier for you for how things are going for you now. Seems you love where you're at (DL)!

Happy early birthday to Mia!

I love reading all the latest ventures with your kiddos! Brightens my day every time!

Anyone planning on being in WDW in SEptember early October? Thinking about our first trip with the kids. We'll be out of debt again this month and can save up for the fall.
Dave and his sister will be there in mid September, and I'm hoping to join them at the weekend. I think the dates are the 12th - 19th though. It's a great time to be there.

That's great! The biggest blessing in my life was that I was able to stay home with my kids during those early days. The pay stinks, but the rewards are priceless!

Derek just told me that the salary of a stay at home mom would be $38k. ...plus and extra $70k-some for overtime. Man, us moms would be rich!

Of course! :D I have to tell you this though - I found pic of Luna through google, which the cake place will scan on edible paper and I'm having them write, 'I hope there's pudding' on it...then we'll serve pudding cups instead of ice cream. :D
Haha! That's so cute! I love it. :D

OH goodness, yes! My life is so different, but it's wonderful. I'm able to stay at home with them now, so not only do I have two magnificent new blessings in my life, but my biggest stressor (work and my boss) are no longer!
A big YAY to that! :sohappy:

Your picture and status updates always warm my heart.

Rachel (popsicletrees) and I are looking at fall break if she gets the teaching job she wants. I have to take my mother one more time before her ann. pass expires.

I wish, but we won't be back at Disney till 2013 at the latest. Abby may be traveling there then with the marching band. I can't wait to hear how Bennett and Celia take to Mickey though! :)

Agreed.
I stayed home till they were in high school. It's a decision I'll never regret. Those were the most rewarding, fulfilling years of my life, and if my girls noticed that they didn't always have the biggest and the best in terms of material things, I never knew it. They were happy to have me there and I was happy to be there.

Summer of '13 after Abby's sophomore year. She's still pretty determined to check out Freed-Hardeman. (I wish it was sooner though, so I'd have an excuse to visit you)

I stayed at home for a few years with my kids and if I had it to do over, I would have never gone back to work full time while they were at home. Cherish every moment, good or bad.

But money is only money. Those precious moments you're seeing right now are worth so much more!
Amen!

Is she still in TN? I need to meet up with her anyways!

Yes. She's working on her masters at Lee University. She got her accreditation to teach history and last Sat. took a test to get accredited in english too. The local high school where she is interning has offered her an english job if she passes the test.

Hi everyone! Not sure if I'm going to make it here to chat tonight or not. It's a crazy week here. Mia's 2nd birthday is on Friday and we are having about 35-40 people here for a party on Saturday. DH's Grandma passed away yesterday morning, so we're going to be spending pretty much all day Thursday at the funeral home and Friday morning at the funeral service. I have a ton of stuff to get done tonight and tomorrow to get ready for the party. Hopefully I'll get a chance to stop and chat.

I just saw this.
Chrissy, sorry to hear about DH's Grandma. ((HUGS))
Mia 2 already??? Wow. Have fun at the party!
