Hello all! Yes, I'm still alive. Just enjoying the craziness that is working at GMR, that's all. I've got 48 hours there next week (mandatory overtime, gotta love it). But my offer to give you guys tours through the movies still stands. And I'm sure Jo's offer does as well. :animwink:
We were able to get the room cheaper.
We don't have them yet. I just sent them to her yesterday afternoon.

Good morning everyone! To all my Twilight friends, it's a 'Forks weather' kind of a day here. Can't wait to hear the endless, 'Mom, can I go outside....no, it's too wet' conversations I will have today.

It's a Forks kind of day here, too. And it was yesterday, as well.
Sadly, not a vampire in sight though.
Speaking of which, I finally saw New Moon Saturday. I did not like it as much as Twilight. I guess I was expecting it to be better, and it just wasn't that good. Edward looked like someone smeared sunblock on him, and Kristin Stewart needs some serious acting lessons. Also, while reading the books, I was such a huge Edward fan, but New Moon had me almost rooting for Jacob. I don't know...the books are just soooo much better than the movies.
Really? I liked it so much better than Twilight, and I thought everybody did a better job. But part of the problem is the screenwriter - she can't say the lines if they aren't written down. Loved the Volturi and the jaunt to Italy though. Fingers crossed for Eclipse - it's my favorite book of the series.
So, um....just read this.....I think I will be fasting for at least two weeks before we go to HP. :slurp::slurp::slurp::slurp:

I loved the Volturi and would have liked to see more of them. Italy was my favorite part, but it went much too fast.
I know most people liked New Moon better. Maybe if I rewatch it. I just rewatched Twilight after not seeing it for a very long time, and I really enjoyed it. I think that the books convey the connection between Bella and Edward much better than the movies do. While reading them I felt like their love story was intense and extraordinary. I don't get that feeling from the movies yet. Maybe Eclipse.
